My goal is to be a finish line catcher - with any luck I will see you on the finish line (hopefully a hi five to each of you not a catch as you fall).  I would love to be one of the first to congratulate those of you that are becoming an Ironman.  I will get a tattoo artist lined up to ink M-dots on anyone who is interested in the recovery area (totally kidding).  This brings up an interesting topic though - who is pretty sure they will add a tattoo once 140.6 is completed?  140.6 is a pretty big deal in my book and certainly worth "branding" yourself for life.

Eric, I just ordered some more kinesiology tape....new brand called Rocktape.  I picked the biohazard print this time, but they also have a cow print.  Not that I'm hoping you need to tape anything, but thought it was cool.

I posted this is my TL too, but if everyone would please keep happy thoughts going for Chris today (if you're a praying type, I appreciate the prayers) as he has his first Drs. appointment about his back this morning.



Ken- I would totally get a tattoo after finishing an IM.  Like Kim, not sure that it would be the M dot, but I would come up with something spanky.  Espeically since husband hates them so I would have to do something pretty impressive to be allowed to get another.

Fully recovered from birthday celebrations today  I had so much fun... James and Bo took me downtown and bought me lots of birthday shots... there's some chunks of my night missing but what I do remember was a lot of fun.  So I have to say my birthday was a success!  Last night James and I tried to go see despicable me with our friend Chris.  Someone thought it was funny to pull the fire alarm 15 minutes into the movie so we had to wait about 30 minutes for them to check the building then they tell us our movie since it was in 3D couldnt come back on We did get a full refund and a free movie pass so it turned out ok.  We are going to attempt to go see it again today.  I got my license today... it's amazing how much nicer they are when they don't think your an illegal alien.

James baked me a cake... I didn't even know he cook bake!  It turned out awesome!!

I love fishing. Fresh salmon or steelhead is some good eating. Looks like you had a great time. Also looks like you're enjoying a coors light as well.

Dude, me too.  I'm fantasizing about all the tasy recipes for fish I have.  There is nothing quite as yummy as super fresh salmon.  Mmmmm.

Well, I do have a freezer full of it now. I had to plug in my porch fridge to fit it all in.

Today I get Shadow's blood retested to see if the drugs are helping.  I am doubtful but she is not suffering at the moment so I am making peace with it either way it goes.  She's an old kitty and has been through a lot.  She's trained two dogs and a kitten even. 

Tina is back in town and fresh bread is baking in the oven as I type.  Yummy.  I mean, there are other reasons that make it nice to have her home, but baking is one.  Plus we get ice cream cake tonight as we are doing a late birthday celebration for her and that was her request.  And you guys think I am bad for ice cream.  Ha, I got nothing on her.

I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to swimming.

Every time I swim I spent 20 minutes afterwards sneezing at least once a minute.

I have a very unique sneeze, and every single time I sneeze someone feels the need to comment on it and say something stupid like, "oh my gosh was that a SNEEZE?  That was so cute, tiny, adorable, etc..."

It's irritating.

Anyone else have an overactive sneezer due to the pool?

I don't get the sneezies per say but my nose runs like it is being chased.  I have less issues here.  Not sure if it is cause I am in an outdoor pool or changes in clorine levels or what...

Contest prize needed:  OK, Nicole and I are in the middle of a contest to see who gets the most s/b/r peach in our calendar for the month of July and I am trying to come up with a reward but am failing miserably.  It's almost not fair for me to come up with it since I started one day ahead of her when we started and I have no rest days in the schedule.  So her only hope is for me to get sick or lazy.    So, what do you think would be a good prize other then the usual bragging rights?

Chocolate?  or if you think Nicole might win an adult toy?

Well, that thought did cross my mind but sending chocolate into AZ and FL this time of year is iffy at best.
