Anyone here a tennis fan, or at least watch the match yesterday? I had to record it and somehow managed to avoid hearing who won.

I care enough to take note of who's in and who's out but I haven't sat and watched a match in ages.

Good morning team!  Hope everyone is doing well.  No stages for me today (run and swim though) I do have one scheduled for tomorrow.

Looking forward to going home and watching TTT after my two meetings tonight.

The match was fabulous!  Did you get a chance to watch it yet?  Set aside several hours!

Hey team!  I managed to break my hand after I crashed my bike on Sunday!  I will not be able to ride a bike outdoors for 4-6 weeks.  I had been scheduled for my first triathlon on August 9th!  <img align='middle' src='https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/frown.gif'>

I would like to know if I can still participate in the challenge using a stationary bike, trainer and/or spinning classes?  Can anyone answer this? If not, I will have to drop out of the challenge.

I hope everyone is doing well with their goals.  Keep riding Team Garmin Slipstream!

Yes, you should be able to spin instead. If you need to adjust your goals, contact Kat.

yea I watched the whole thing.. incredible tennis. I've been a long time Andy Roddick fan though, so it was quite heart breaking. He really deserved it and I wish he could've pulled it out.

Oh no thats terrible! I hope you heal up without any complications. I could be wrong but I believe trainer rides do count for this challenge. I'm sure you can adjust your goal if you need to.

What a bummer Linda! Hope you heal quickly.  I teach spin and asked Cat about counting it and she said everything counts- spin, trainers and outdoor rides.  Be careful though!  Could you change your race to late August or September?

Hello Team.

Sorry to hear about your situation Linda.  We want you to stay, we wont droop you like Garmin did yesterday to the 4 guys in the TTT  lol  (even though they did come in second)

I may get rained out today for my ride.  Big T-storms coming off the mountains w/ no real breaks that are long enough to get in any mileage.  We'll see, hopefully I'll get something in today.  If anything, I may just pull out the hardtail MTB and go for a quick 3-4 miles between cells.

Hey everyone! Well I got my ride in today (38.4mi) but not without incidence. It was a really nice morning (and now evening) but in the middle of my ride I got poured on! I was drenched! Usually I hate getting rained on with riding, but once it happened I just laughed because it was so ridiculous how hard it was raining.

We recently went through a week or more where it was hot and humid and rained almost every day. Right now we're in a stretch of unseasonably cool weather with low humidity and no rain; it's beautiful riding and running weather. I think it's gonna break right before my tri on Sunday.

I made some adjustments to the rear derailleur on my tri bike so I'll be taking it out for a spin tomorrow morning on an unplanned ride. Hopefully the bike will check out and I'll also have a 1 stage/17 mile cushion to work with.

Good morning my fellow argyle friends

As predicted, the rains came.  But not as much and not when I thought.  A cell missed my area by a mile or two, but I saw it form on my ride and thought it could come my way.  So I didnt ride the extra loop I had wanted.

But anyway, I got in 7 miles on my MTB (or Tank as I call it)  3 miles dirt road and 4 miles pavement.  good ride, even got a little muddy.

I have a meeting tonight and I'm going to ride my roadie there and back.  s/b 15+ miles

Good luck to everyone

Wow, sounds like beautiful training weather. I hope it holds through your race.  We are still in the daily thunderstorm pattern up here- hopefully clearing for the weekend!

I got in a morning shakeout ride on my tri bike, almost 17 miles of unplanned riding. The rear shifting is better but still not quite right. I'm gonna have to live with it for Sunday since I won't have another chance for a test ride.

Go Argyle!
