I just caught up on this thread while waiting here in the hospital. I am definately still planning (best laid plans of mice and men and all that) on doing this race, as is a friend of mine (disco_superfly here on BT). It will be my first iron.

I have been to Wilmington a couple of times. It is a great town.

Meeting the BT royalty is a fine bonus.

Ahhh...gotcha. I think he explained it at some point (#'s 1 and 2 I think were testing accounts).

I'm in for the Half and based on what I know about the area - Mother in Law lives there and we are frequent visitors - this course if primed for speed. With the tide coming in on the swim, you might go sub-45..
