No, but My orders came through. My squadron ships out tomorrow. We're bombing the storage depots at Daiquiri at 1800 hours. We're coming in from the north, below their radar.
When will I be back? I can't tell you that. It's classified.

Wally World? Moose? Huh?

HINT: this thread is about a movie service. And I didn't realize Walmart had discontinued it's service.

THE WALLY WORLD NATIONAL ANTHEM:

Who's the moosiest moose we know?
Marty Moose!
Who's the star of our favorite show?
Marty Moose!
"M" is for merry, we're merry, you see
"O" is for o-gosh, o-golly, o-gee!
"S" is for super-swell family glee
"E" is for everything you want to be
M-A-R-T-Y M-O-O-S-E
What's that spell?
Marty Moose! Marty Moose! Marty Moose!
MARTY: "E-yuck! That's me! Huh! Huh! Huh!"

Timely!  I just this week signed up for Netflix.  I love it for all the reasons stated above and this.  My wife and I can go online at our convenience and cue up the movies.  What ships will be somewhat of a surprise and I like it that way.  Takes the responsibility off of me if we should get two "guy" movies at a time.  If we get two "chick flicks" I'll just work out extra hard that day because I'll be getting a nap in that night.

Plus, since it's paid for already (in a way) why not cue up those DVD's of TV shows I might not have paid out of my pocket for at BB and while I'm at it all of those 80's movies I loved but are on TV in bad cut-up form every other weekend?

I went with the 2 movie plan in case we get something that we want to take our time to watch or a kids movie they'll want to watch over and over for a week or two.  That way we can still keep the other slot rotating.  Marmadaddy - that's another reason right there.  With little ones there's a ton of movies out there you don't want to have to buy but you can get them for the kids this way.

And because they've been returned, I don't have to listen to them 5,000 times! YES!

Wow, how ironic.  I respond to missing one obscure movie quote with one of my own.  That should at least get me back to even.

And watch where you're pointing that BB Gun, I think that last one almost broke the skin.

We also enjoy Nerflix for man yof the above reasons.  I was a little worried at first about if something got lost inthe mail or dmaged, but their customer service is great we have had 2 movies get lost in the mail over the past 3 years or so that we have had the service.  I just went online and told them we never received it and they sent another copy.  Same with broken or scratched disks.  We just sent them back and either got another copy or the next thing on the list.  I also agree that we have watched movies that I wouldn't pay to rent, but since it is a monthly fee why not.  My husband gets all the action, sci fi he wants and I can watch chick flicks or even sports documentaries like Running on the Sun and a good cycling one but I forget the name.

Just don't get the butter from your popcorn on your handlebars

Never really had a problem with Blockbuster, but have been amazed that they have mismanaged their business from being a category gorilla to chump.

It was Blockbuster's aggressive late fee collection effort that allowed Hollywood Video to launch as a late entrant into the market place - and exceed their market share.  It was also Blockbuster's inability to listen to their customers (and their dislike of their business practices) that enabled a new paradigm like Netflik to be borne.

Many people have strong feelings about Blockbuster ... and regardless of what they may claim as to an end to late rental fees, they believe that Blockbuster will find someway to ding you for extra charges.

Netfliks, however, has a positive brand name and is reknown for customer service and flexibility.

My parents use Netfliks and love it.
