Subject: RE: Who gets high off running?Occasionally I will get an actual "runners high" It's a complicated unpredictable set of circumstances that will produce it for me. The run needs to be of a medium distance. Outside temperature somehow matters, as well as my body temp. Needs to be a high tempo run. Too fast, I don't get one, too slow does not happen then either. Even if all above is true most of the time it STILL does not occur. On the other hand. If I do NOT run, or perhaps bike hard/long, my brain/body gives me the reverse of the "runners high" I feel like crap. I only really feel what I consider "normal" if I have run. It seems to set things right. Now this is what i consider to be an addiction. No Run/Bike = feel like crap (withdrawl ) |
