Heck, when I cross that finish line and get dragged off by the finish line attendants to get some food in me, quick shower and hope to have at least 3 hours left to watch the rest of the finishers come in...will definately be putting down a beer or two. BeckyDon't bother to shower, no one will notice! LOL I won't be showering if I stick around after the race! |

Not to be forward or anything...but one thing I read in the IM suggestions was to make friends  with someone who has a room really, really close to race finish...so you can borrow their shower.... So, Jim.....Is your shower up for bids now???? Although, if the rest don't shower, then I probably won't either. I don't want to miss one minute of those who finish after me. However, I will pack some bribes for anyone who is at the Boardwalk....LOL Becky |

Just look for the big tall handsome guy plodding along slowly with the short little slow girl. That will be us. Hopefully he'll get to meet everyone at the banquet, but if you do see him out on the course volunteering, give him a shout out! He will be doing something at the swim exit and also be catching at the finish line between 6 and 9 pm (for all you fast people!). His name is Steve.
Oh yeah. I don't normally walk around with henna tattoos or flowers in my hair, nor will I have an african entourage, but you get the idea. See you guys soon! |
