Hot bike!

Are you in the long torso club or something? Inititally I thought the frame looked 2 sizes too big, but the top tube length looks right, just from eyeballing it.

The SRAM TT shifters are sexy as hell... They're my favorite piece of bling on my P2C as well.

I have an Arundel Chrono cage on my bike right now for hydration and am finding it a little annoying to get to, especially in the aerobars. How do you like the aft-mounted water? Is it a pretty easy grab while riding?

You posted this over on ST right?

Sweet ride, looks good!

My only comment is that your seat appears to be too far forward on it's rails.  Is it passed the limits on the rails?

So I took it for a ride yesterday an man it is fast. But we had a 12-15mph wind yesterday and when I got the bike up to 27+ the front end was loose because of the 1080. I had never felt that before with a 404, hence the 404 will be going with me to the race in case of high winds. Anyhow thanks for the thumbs up. I love it and cant wait to race it this weekend.

DR Pete- My p2c had an xwing on it and it was fine. I had it adjusted so that it cleared my butt and I could slide the bottle down my hip and it would go back in the cage fine.

The saddle is pretty close to the stops but not quite there.

Here are some better pictures with some natural light.

Actually ..... you ARE beyond the stops.  The last hash mark should not go past the BACK portion of the clamp.

Running the risk of snapping your saddle rails, which can be quite painful in a race or on a ride!

Now you're supporting my frame-too-big theory too.

the frame is a 51cm,  the same as my P2C. In regards to the stops the Cervelo shop set it up based off of the P2C and a new fit. The rear clamp is 1/2 cm past the 1 mark. Do you think that is a problem? I thought the forward stop was the only one to be concerned with.

Yes, it is ......

I would never set someone up that way as I HAVE seen seats snap off of their seat rails.  Think of it as a fulcrum point.  And with the propensity of people to slide even further forward in hard efforts, you effectively have put a single point load (your body weight) at the furthest point from where the saddle is connected to the post.  The pivot point is so far back on the "see saw" that you are asking these little tiny plastic/carbon/kevlar tabs to hold your exponential weight load that is way out front.

FWIW, I was just eyeballing it. From my roadie experience, if the seatpost is way low and the saddle is way forward, that can indicate a frame that's too big. As a random anonymous yahoo on the internet, I am no substitute for a fit by your shop.

And the bike is still hot as hell.

You've inspired me to try the Sonic Wing at some point---we'll see.

Except for the seat, yeah, nice bike

With the lack of drop and the lack of spacers steerer tube, the seat so far forward, yeah, frame looks at least a size too big.

Really don't like that seat but thats the most personal part of a bike, but a nice Flite does it for me.

Get a 48.
