Definitely a NO for me. Probably a NEVER also. I might work up to some day. I prefer my shorter distance races. Gonna focus on olys next year. I wish I had more endurance. I am quickie.

Negative for me. 2010 will be a bunch of 70.3s, Possibly IMAZ or IMWI in 2011.

Negatory for me, too. The family would kill me. Yep. Pretty sure they would.

Depends on if I get into IM CAN 2010 or not, and/or what happens with KQ at WI this year.

What time has the rolldown been for your AG?  Seems like things on track for this year.  KQ is where I want to be but dont think thats gonna happen til I actually put some effort into swim training.  Probably wont sniff IM distance til 2012 earliest but even that, I have my eye on maybe doing Silverman vs another IM event, unless two years has me a bit more hydrodynamic.  I will be cheering on and training with whoever though (maybe just not at 4am as much!)

I am definitely out, probably be a few years before another IM distance, but wondering who's on tap for next year or at least entertaining some thoughts.  Just curious.

I hold a weekly dinner and dance party these type of thoughts.  Mainly how awesome it must be to hit that finisher's chute.  Probably a couple more years though before the kids could care less about my presence on the weekends.

I am on the fence.  Two years in a row is tough.  May hit up the shorter stuff next year.  I do love going long, though....

I have a hard time figuring out what I am doing next week, much less next year... though I'd still have to say I'm about 99.99% OUT for next year, even if I don't finish this year -- I like the 'half's' and maybe a little shorter.. I've never done an Oly before..

I'm thinking the exact same thing.  Besides, the mere thought scares the ... heck out of me

OUT for next year.  We'll see for 2011.  Probable for 2012.  Is it unreasonable for a "family-man-triathlete" to go long only 3 years into the sport?  Seems like a stretch for me at this point.

Well, I did the long the 1st year getting into this sport, and am doing it again this year, 2 years later.  It's however the BALANCE works with the family.

last year was my first year (one sprint, 2 half irons, 2 oly's and a full iron), this year is year two (one du, two sprints, one half iron and coming up on a full iron again).......next year prolly all sprints and maybe one oly.  no fulls!!!

At one point I thought it was a very real possibility for next year. However, a number of things have me thinking it is not happening next year and getting to point where most likely it won't happen at all.  I just have to decide whether I'm ok with that.

Ummmm still thinking..was supposed to do the oly for Children's and instead did the sprint. I need to figure out how to stay consistent in my training before saying yes but it has been a dream of mine since getting sucked into this crazy way of life!
