Your good now Stake...you did everything right, we were not auto-updating this entrypoint into the Nexus.  You should see your name for both races.

Very nice!  I love being able to check out my local races here on BT, see who's doing them, and refer to any recent threads about them.

Don't forget to list the Marine Corps Marathon on October 29, 2006.  It starts and ends in Arlington, Virginia, though the route is mostly through D.C.  Sign-up is in May I believe.

Also, D.C. shows 5 as the number of events, but there are actually only three listed.

Bear, I believe we have fixed this.  Let me know if otherwise.

Pretty cool!

How-Ev-Ah... there are bugs.

When I hit 'Add Race to your Planned Race Log " button under the listing for RiverCities-Shreveport, it adds the BI-LO Myrtle Beach Marathon in Myrtle Beach to my race listing.

Sappho, I 'm polishing up on my geography from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom   I think I see what your saying...the UK is just Constituent countries: Flag of England England | Scotland | Flag of Wales Wales | Flag of Northern Ireland Northern Ireland

I'm not sure where I got East Lothian from as it's a county of Scotland, but I will eliminate as Scotland doesn't need subdivided.

Lets see how this grows before I split up England....If we get 200-300 races in it, I will do it.

thanks ron!

so great, I just went in and added all my races. One suggestion: the place where you click to get to the next page of races is teeny tiny and way up top. Would be easier to find if it were at the bottom, or both, or bigger.  But maybe I am just blind.

I also noticed that there is a new icon for control panel, but it only shows up in Race Nexus. Would be cool to have it in other screens too.  Would also be cool to have only one control panel instead of two.  But I sound way greedier than I really am IRL.  You guys are SO smart, I can't believe Tri magazines and race management/event planner people haven't figured this out.  Imagine if it could also be hooked up w/ sthg like active.com so you could actually resgister from here too! *but I hate paying for active.com, so never mind.

Great feedback! I agree, not having the "next page" link at the  bottom makes getting to it kind of tedious. That should be addressed pretty soon.

The Control Panel icon is kind of a test of the new width Ron's been talking about. It made sense to try it out in a whole new area of the site. As to the multiple control panel pages, Ron has some ideas for that (shocking, I know).

Hi JT,

It's probably your browsers cache. Try hitting F5 and then if that doesn't work Ctrl+F5.

is there a way to set your own state as the default...it's a little tedious to go through country/ state each time you go to the nexus home

I would also like to see the current day's date as a default. In Louisiana, for instance, you have to load three pages before you find upcoming races.

what a fantastic tool. It is great to be able to see who is entering your local races and get easily to prior years race reports. Thanks
It has also inspired me to add my races in there and to actually enter them!

Good idea. I'll add it to the list.

I still don't see the races I entered into the system:

1)  7/29/06  Youngstown Central YMCA Youth/Adult Triathlon

2)  9/17/06  Portage Lakes Triathlon/Duathlon

Did I do something wrong when entering them?

Ron et al,

As always, some great work! I was just exploring a little and noticed that there is no link for Nova Scotia. If you could add one that would be great.

So...how do you add races that don't show up in the search?  Like this one

Stake, just go to 'Your Races' and hit 'Add race'  A wizard will collect some information for the race you want to submit plus it will then add that race to your 'planned races'.  It will not be 'live' in the Nexus till we check the link and verify everything-but everyone can still find it if they use the wizard to add a planned race to their log.
