A) a birkenstock-wearing, head in the sand knee jerk liberal trying to save everybody from themselves and trampling personal liberties in the name of what I think is right, the heck with everyone else?

or

B) an insensitive, bullying cultural conservative bent on the destruction of personal liberty in the name of moral decency, the heck with what anyone else thinks?

Seriously, why be in America if you hate it so much.  I'm not being rude but you seem to like Europe and not really like America?

But again, It's pretty dumb to leave America because there are people that disagree with you.

If you're insulted that what I think you are doing is dumb (which is distinctly different from saying that you are dumb, but whatever....) then you're going to be insulted.  Personally, I find the history of religious based killings in Northern Ireland a little more repugnant than someone expressing his rights to free speech and exposing himself to be an idiot.  But that's just me......

My apologies, then, I thought you said in your initial post it was people like that that made you want to leave, not that you were happier there ("It is things like this that make me want to leave the US".  my mistake
