Who's training on the 4th of July? (Page 2)

21 on the bike, 6 for the run.
Now we'll see if I can pull those off or not.

I will be riding my bike to the Fourth of July barbeque I am attending as that will be my only chance to train during the day.

I have 4 hours of driving scheduled, followed by frivolity of the non-alcoholic, familial variety, followed by 4 hours of driving. Ugh.

Yeah probably. Why wouldn't I?

I am racing tomorrow, the 1st of July.

DH and I have a 1hr bike on the schedule.  May warm up/cool down by biking with the kiddos....

I will be out there at the crack of dawn.  Not sure what I am going to do yet as it was a swim day and the pool is closed so I will have to re-arrange my workout for the week to accomodate.  It will be a run or a ride or what the heck maybe a brick.  Always a great way to start the day, especially since I will be a glutton later on.

Running a 4 miler race in the AM and then biking in the afternoon.... I need to log some miles for the 400 challenge.

I think I will be getting up early and do a 30 mile ride or so

I think that I will probably run a 5K in the morning, and finish it off with a cold morning "OJ". You can't start to early!

5K race in the morning, then slacking off the rest of the day.

What else would a person do?

I reckon the local roadies will be hittin it and I'll be out there with em. Zoom zoom zoom. Have a great 4th!

Doing a sprint in the am, family fun the rest of the day(including charbroiled red meat), fireworks that night. If I wasn't racing I'd probably take advantage of no work and do either a long run or ride early in the am.

A nice 10k training run with 55,000 of my closest friends. The Peachtree Road Race--Time group 2!

Either a 5k tempo run from home or a 5k local race.  Haven't decided which.  Depends on how much or little I want to see $15 leave my wallet.    Then it's off to my sister's for a cookout!

Running a 8K road race in the AM, might get in a swim and bike ride also...

50 mile bike ride and 3500 (LCM) swimming.

Jeez! I hope you are biking and not running!

If my cough EVER stops - 10K at Midnight, 5K at 7am.

And I bike ride of unknown distance in there somewhere! Have to get going on the 400 challenge!

We have a group ride from my house over to a 5k in Pensacola. We are arranging bike transport back as the traffic is too bad after 8AM to ride home.

Wife and I are both doing the Liberty Triathlon. 1/3 S 14 B 3.1 R

Just like Chop, I'll be running the Peachtree Road Race with 55,000 of my closest friends (Time Group 2). Than I have to head out for a quick swim at the gym.
