Good job so far everyone!  Pam!! - I've missed you!

I'm 4 for 4 and plan to hit biking hard this coming week.  I'll also be putting in my garden which is back-breaking work so I'll be counting it toward my daily peach.

Missed you too, Sweet Brenda! Glad we get to see each other in the challenge.

Fantastic run yesterday and then a not so fantastic one today. But the weather was beautiful anyway. May try to get a more relaxing slow run or walk in after dinner just to enjoy the weather some more.

i didn't do any formal exercise yesterday, but i did spend 2 hours cheering near the pittsburgh marathon finish line and all the associated walking around pittsburgh to do so (probably >3 miles) and my arms were tired from holding up my sign, so i'm going to count it as a peachy day!

hope everyone had a peachy weekend.

Of course you count days like that, Marilyn!   I'm usually more exhausted when I volunteer than when I participate.  It's a good exhaustion, though.   Thanks for paying it forward!

And Pam, I'm glad at least someone is getting some beautiful weather.  I wonder if we'll ever see above 60 here in Indiana.

I'd totally count that - heck, I counted my running around like a chicken with my head cut off at drill this weekend - it wasn't formal exercise, but its just continual on the go

i really really appreciate the volunteers and the spectators at all the races i do, and this year i've been making an effort to give back.  i volunteered at a local tri last month, watched the "slower (aka still faster than me)" marathoners finish yesterday - maybe i'll try to make it a goal to volunteer at one event per month this race season??

I was supposed to race next weekend in an 70.3, but can't - so I emailed the volunteer coordinator and told her to put me to work - I have lots of friends running it, so I can cheer them on while I volunteer - just a little to give back

perfectly peachy day yesterday with a 3 mile run - i could have sworn i posted...lol! I took the dog for a run (nearly 5 year old German Shepherd) - we've been running lots because he went through a stage where he wouldn't walk anywhere on his leash unless it was to the car (I think because when we were out running one day, a car got a bit too close to him for his liking because of the path we were on) - so its been some work - he's been doing good though, until the last 1/4 of the run (the house was in sight) when he saw a rabbit...so glad i saw it first, otherwise I may have been on my

Staying peachy. This morn, I couldn't make myself get up at 5am so missed my morn run. Going to try to go out now. Gonna be hard tho. It was still chilly here last week and now we are in the 90s. What happened to Spring?

I need to load back up my data from the past few days, but so far I'm 8 for 8.  Hard bike Tuesday, tempo run yesterday, and swim this morning.  Got another hard bike later on today that I'm going to try to get in.

Goodness Pam
You sound worse than us. We went from 50's to 80's and now back to 50's in the span of a week.

Hoping to head out now for 5k or so.. Seems like I have not run in forever.

Keeping things perfectly peachy so far ten days in.  Ran a 25k trail race this morning that was a lot of fun.  I had a long run planned today so just decided to hop into this local race at the last minute.  It was brutally hard but very, very beautiful setting.  3.500 feet of elevation gain and some steep descents.  1,000 feet of climbing in the first mile alone.  Lots of beer planned for the rest of the day.

Keeping it peachy. Started off with a run yesterday then tree-to-tree obstacle course. Sore today but had a great Mother's Day playing frisbee golf with my son. He whooped my butt and that was giviing me two extra shots every hole.

perfectly peachy so far here - I just need to update my log

swam 2400m friday night - nice to finally see improvements on my swim - I'd been sitting at 1:50-1:55 per 100m and the other night I was in the 1:38 to 1:43 range

Saturday volunteered at a half-iron, so was running all over the place - did swim exit/wetsuit stripping and then road guard/bike directing as they were returning from the ride

Sunday - volunteered at a sprint, and then 3.5 hours on the trainer/4 mile run (due to a flat tire and no store open have the 650 inner tubes I needed)

I've managed to stay peachy so far this month, but this week will likely have some non peach days, as I approach Memphis in May weekend.  I've been training for this weekend since my marathon in January.  Looking forward to seeing how I do.

I have been absent and there are some holes in my peach streak. Both are being fixed as we speak. Looking at some bike routes where I will be traveling to this week as well. Onward and Peachward!

Family time is always good.

Mother's Day started with my usual 6 mile run while everyone slept. The rest of the day we still had games and practices but we did have a fabulous dinner at my favorite cuban restaurant.

I think we should all get a free pass for Mother's Day.  My wife wanted to BBQ after church, then visit her Mom, then go for a walk holding hands.  No time really left to train.  Mom's come first.

Got in a nice 21 mile ride today.  First outdoor ride after all the winter trainer sessions.  It's always interesting to see how that first real ride goes after that.  Averaged over 20.3 mph so pretty happy.

p.s. had semi-annual post cancer scans today.  Negative!!  I have a season to look forward to.  Woot!! Woot!!

Most people believe that running barefoot is dangerous. Certainly, depending upon the surface, they would be correct. However, there is some suggestion that running barefoot may reduce injuries.

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
