Getting my couches form Ikea, but now not sure which I want to get. I had mentioned that my colors are going to be white, blue and black. So I was going to get this in white: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S29841039 And this is in the Vallsta white/black (stripes): http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79849311 BUT....I like the new color, the Klintbo Blue - for the loveseat, maybe. Or I might get a chair because we WILL need a third chair in the other corner (we had a very long sofa, a loveseat and a chaise lounge before and it was not crowded at all) and maybe do that chair in the blue, with the white couch and black stripes. I am not sure if that will look ecletic or weird. I have some accent pillows for the white couch and a lamp that are white with Jacobean print on them (in blue). The lamp and pillows did not come from the same store, but they are very similar. Anyway, thoughts? I know this is kinda "girly", but I trust you dudes (and Cami and Kiley, and Sharkie too!). I like the Ektorp.. I have thought about it myself for our home... much of our decor is Ikea... I like the Brown... the Blue makes me want to hurl... but if you were to have a few naked pics on the couch, I am pretty sure I would like it... so pass along any you might have and I'll think about reconsidering... -B |
