Wish I could fifure it out.  It started hurting during my swim today.  I had surgery on it almost 10 years ago (herniated disc) and it gets cranky from time to time.  I was in aero for most of my drainer ride yesterday and even with my recent bike fit that still bothers me so I think that set it off.  Took some Motrin this morning when I got to work and I'm calling my chiro in a bit to squeeze in  ASAP.

What races, if any, are you training for? I've got a biathlon and a half marathon in September, a five mile in October, 10k in November and a 10 mile in December.

My first Oly is Sept 7 (actually it's technically an international distance since the swim is longer than a true oly but I'm not quibbling)  It's my last tri this season. 

Then I'm going for my second half mary Nov 15 (Richmond resumed the half mary, busy weekend...they run a kids race on Friday, an 8K/half mary and full mary all on Saturday)....Shooting to get between 2:10 -2:15 ...my half mary in April I was 2:17.11.

BTW...my back is a little less tweaky since I did downward dog in my cubicle at work today.  I have an appointment with the chiro next week.

OK Black Flies, here is my attempt at a spreadsheet.  There is a slot for each day of the challenge for you to enter your mileage.  Please note that you will enter mileage in the lower part of the spreadsheet, not the top part (hopefullly it will be clear).

That is correct.  If the formula works as it should, it will put the cumulative amounts in the top portion.

I had a wonderful ride today....it's so nice out I may do a run today and skip tomorrow.  Thing is, I have run the past 2 days and should probably rest my legs tody for Sunday.

Have any of you ever done an oly?  I'm trying to figure out realistic time goals for myself. 

Hoping for Swim of 40 min, Bike around 1:40 and Run around 1:05 (best stand alone 10 K is just shy of an hour but I have not been able to maintain a sub 10 min mile all season).  Does this seem reasonable?

I have not done an Oly distance. Those seem like reasonable goals. You may surprise yourself!
No run for me today, had a nice long run yesterday and I need to rest my legs a bit.  Tomorrow I'll have some miles to log on the chart.
