Those guys are PERFECT. Is there anyway to put them on our chart???

I can't even figure out how to change my avatar. I did it last month now I can't figure it out. OH, to be road kill on the information highway......

I can also get them as separate pictures. A nice vertical one might be good.

Hello Blitzen bunch!

HA! Of all teams I'm on a blitzed group...I stopped boozin' it up some years ago but I'm sure this is just referencing Blitzen the reindeer -- cuz he's soooo fast and strong

I'm Sarah. Been doing this tri stuff since 06 and although I'm not fast, I enjoy it and enjoy setting goals. So... my goal is running (even though I could reallllly use swimming too...and ice cream cutting down but hmmmm...that may be on this after all). Thanks to the person (ratkat?) who did the thingy with all our names on it!!!

ROTFLMAO! Very nice!

Of course we can put it on the chart... the color of the writing is a little tricky, but I think with the read it's readable!

Ooohhh,, I love the chart. Thanks.

Can't run today because the road guys and tree trimmers are all around. There is no way to get out of here safely. So, tomorrow it is...

I guess it's just the treadmill for me tonight too... it's just getting too dark too early and the cold here.... I can just not function when it is that cold.

I don't run unless the roads/sidewalks are like 90% clean and clear.

Yep. It's been snowing here for the past two days. It finally stopped this evening. I was brave enough yesterday to go running in it, but it was pretty cold!

Glad I'm not alone.... Actually, its great running while its snowing...that soft fluffy stuff... either later at night or just before dawn...so quiet! Traction is better when there is a little bit of snow vs just a little covering. And deep stuff ain't fun cuz you get wet faster and you really work your legs as you sort of 'bound' along.

I'm skittish when it comes to ice. I don't want to fall and wreck an ankle or wrist -- not only would it crap out my training but also since I typically run pre-dawn hours, I'd be stuck (hmmm...maybe I will suck it up and find a place to put a cell phone! duhhh! )

I use YakTrax for slippery stuff. They are AWESOME! However, they don't do well on pavement cuz the gripper balls can get a bit slippery--so either I use them with fresh snow over icey roads OR I try to run on the snow areas vs the pavement.

Last year I ran with below zero wind chills - just had to cover my face and layer - LOTS. Not bad. Pace ain't as fast during the Winter, but its to be expected. And, if its really nasty with precipitation - ice, rain, heavy snow--- I use the treadmill.

Ooohh, I am so jealous of actually being able to run in snow.. Wait. I love running in perfect conditions best but snow.. That is so cool compared to anything else. Running in pure snow. fluffy stuff falling, absoute quie.... the squeak squeak of the shoes in the snow.. that is good. Here, if it is snowing one place it is sleeting just down the road and lots of black ice. For here, if it is less than 40degrees I run inside, because around the mountain bend.. black ice. black ice equals injuries I am not willing to deal with.

Good evening team,

Just coming back from my first running session for this month.

I had a chiropractor appointment earlier today.... I just starting going again and chiropractor right now means instant soreness for me.... But run went fine, I was able to ignore the soreness for the most part.

Have a great night everybody.... I am off to bed now.

I was supposed to swim this am but the pool was closed

The next time I will get to swim is Friday night or Saturday am..

HOPEFULLY, I will get to run this afternoon/evening but that doesn't help this challenge out. Never fear, I have lots of vacation time later in the month, I can get all my swims in then.  Hve great days all you Blitzers..

New month , new challenge Team  what better than a new run course
Scouted this one last month and got going  early
It was a blast ,I cant wait to do it again . Could easily add a couple of hilly side trails to get a ten miler out of it.
Basically Down higuera    into hilly Kenneth HAhn state park all the way across  without leaving the park. And return same way adding one loop of the large hilly green .
Stopped twice to stretch out  .

Good morning team.... Again I am stuck in my usual mind games.... Go outside to run tonight or just go on the treadmill.... I think I will end up on the treadmill again, because I am a wuzz and I don't like to run in the cold and the darkness....  Also tonight, some Salsa dancing.... And before that I have to organize a cake... One of my friends is moving back to Germany for good by the end of the month and this will be her "last dance" around here....

So on tab for today as soon as work is done: 1 running session, organize a cake and maybe some ballons and then some Salsa...
