I sir, do not "straddle" anything. Unless I'm trying to show you what your swim kick looks like.

Make sure you call Nick Woodring to get directions and when/where you're supposed to be. I had to call him yesterday to confirm. he said he sent out an email, but I swear I never got it. But After calling him, I made it there on time this morning.

I just got an email from them:

"Pre- reminder about your test date. Real reminder, maps and instructions will go out next week.

Nicholas"

Long story short.  I had an A/C emergency yesterday and didn't see the email from Nick until this morning 10 minutes before I was supposed to be there.  It went to my junkmail.  So I called them and he is working on rescheduling me.  At least I now have directions.  What a bummer.

It was good. I commented a bit about it on my training log. The hardest part was not having breakfast until 9am. Park in the Visitor garage on Rural and Terrace and bring the parking ticket into the office. They will validate for you.

Cool. I just rote about my tramatic experience. I'm not sure how that will go over but it should be interesting. I still have my parking pass from grad school so parking is no problem. No exercise the first day, right?

I'm heading to your blog now.

ETA: I should have figured that an exercise study funded my the military would involve yelling. I'll try to keep a straight face! I'm looking forward to the VO2Max test. I'm a little out of shape from not doing diddly squat the past month but at least I'll be able to get my avg HR at VO2MAX for my HR zones for free!

I didn't see your reply last night, but yes, there is no excercise the first visit. Enjoy sticking your handin the ice water. That was HARSH! You're probably doing that as we speak.

I'm glad to hear that you survived the stress test.  I thought that was just awful.  I was so glad to get out of there on that first day, that I forgot to take my cotton swab pack with me.

The rest of the tests are much more enjoyable.  (There will be much more yelling, but with encouragement. )

I lasted the full three minutes but the last 20 seconds were brutal!

I though the worst part was looking like a retard during the math questions. I think I got 3-4 of them, I was so panaky. I only got two of the anogram questions too. Hopfully I can impress them with an amazing VO2Max. I go back on Tueday.
