2 peachy days for me on my first peach challenge. Today was 3.25 hours of gardening. Wow, the bermuda grass takes over if you give it any advantage. I didn't want it choaking out the tomato plants so I had to get out there this a.m.
Tomorrow is swim clinic and then some practicing with the clipless pedals on a trainer I'm getting from someone tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'll venture out to the road yet. I had them on a few weeks ago but took them off to practice for my first bike race last weekend. I vowed I would put them on after that and try to be ready to ride with them in my sprint (sorta weird distances-1K swim, 25K bike and 5K run).
I'm up for it! I just joined BT a few weeks ago and have been quite peachy. A few people in the mentor group I'm in suggested this challenge to me, so here I am.
It's a good thing I joined the challenge because today will be a long day and I probably won't get home until after 9 and if I wasn't doing the challenge I would blow off doing anything. I may try to leave work and get a walk in before my meeting. If not it will be something at home.
I kicked myself out of bed at 5:30 this morning to squeeze in my workout because I knew I wouldn't have any other chance to do it today. Keep on peaching on!
