But I also REALLY like my somewhat new Brooks shorts - I think they're the Infiniti shorts? Or maybe something that starts with an "E"? I do love the Nike tempo shorts like Jen, but I think I like the Brooks even more. They're split-leg, which I really like for the feeling of full range of motion. All I know is I want another pair. |

I own three pair of Brooks shorts now after randomly finding them at a run expo years ago. The Nike shorts do the "poof" thing on me, which I hate. I love my Brooks, they have a flat front and never get in the way. |

For me it's the North Face Nemesis Running Shirt - There are lot of running shirts out there that are made with polyester blends to wick sweat away, but this one also incorporated reflective markings (to help keep from getting run over – always a plus) and a little pocket in the back to store a key or access card. It also has a cord port in the pocket in case you want to stash your iPod nano in there. Really cheap: Gu. Cheap: Running socks made by Balega. Hand held water bottle by Nathans (easy to hold and has a pocket on it). Speedo Pro goggles. Mid-range: Tri shorts. They are great for long runs. Speedo swim suit (ladies). Expensive: Garmin 305. I ran a half mary a weekend ago, it poured rain on us for the first two miles. super heavy rain, after the turn around. I have never seen so many guys with red ringed nipple shirts in my whole life. you could have sold body glide for 25 dollars a container. I also am super happy with my brooks shorts also. I found 3 pair on a clearance rack at a local store and bought them due to super price. I love them. best ever. |

Expert 803 MD | Subject: RE: One piece of gear you absolutely love (not a bike) I already posted but I can't forget my Tyr Aqua Sphere Seal Mask, Mirrored Lens, for OW swimming. I had to give up on regular goggles in long OW swims since they don't fit me well and have to be so tight that they caused unbearable pain on my cheekbone after an hour or two in the water. The small loss of streamline is made up with comfort, no pain, great seal, and a wide angle of view (equals great sighting). Mirror lens cuts out on backscatter glare. |

Aquasphere goggles, Think they're the Kaiman style, tinted lenses, and good comfortable fit and aren't very leak prone. My first OW swim sighting was a pain, but not so much with these.
