Did anyone start the month off with one of their goals? I still have to come up with mine.....I really need to get on my bike more but my saddle is terrible so I avoid my bike at all cost! Soooo bike is one of mine. I think the other will be my new run/strength training that I was suppose to start in the summer but never did..... I will get my run in tonight after I teach body vive! I started off this month with a non-goal workout. Not procrastinating, that was just how it shook out. My goals are run and bike (which I'll be adding to the spreadsheet a little later) and tomorrow morning I have a run planned. Right now it is really sad, because running 2.25 miles in 30 minutes about killed me.not sad....just means you are starting over, just think where you will be after the month! Baby steps will get you there!! |

I have yet to do a tri event, but I am working hard toward that goal. I am a licensed Massage Therapist for 22 years now with my office in the local YMCA. I'm married to a wonderful guy who unfortunately does not want to train for triathlon. Oh well, I love him lots anyway My goals for this challenge are running and biking ... trying to increase my distance this month. Hi Dee great to be with you again! |

I need to get ahead on the biking for the first half of the month as I'll be away for 6 days with no access to my bike starting the 15th. Staying on track will be a big challenge for me this month so I'll need lots of help from the team. Welcome Cathy!Way to start the month right. We will keep you on track! |

I am looking to drop 8 pounds during this challenge to get me down to 210. I am 6'4" so currently a stick looking to achieve beanpole status by the time January marathon training kicks off. Great start everyone and I will get my running started tonight with 6 miles then a brisk core/legs session. |
