GoGoGo - 2009-12-31 3:20 AM Morning Team 2,

PS. I annoy the others teams when I am bored. By association, your names may be taken in vain as well! Just a warning!

You're late to the party.  I already took your stick and started stirring the pot with team 1.
I have a feeling Team 1 won't mind. In fact, at the posting rate we're going at, we probably won't even notice. LOL

Dee not only likes to talk smack, she likes to constantly brag about her epic post-padding abilities. Since we're going to be the winning team, we'll focus our efforts on quality and not quantity. Tongue out

Nah, I just don't have a life, so I spend 24/7 on BT. That way, I can pick on everyone, all day (and night) long.

You guys have a new teammate. Juniperjen will be joining you.

God, Jenna I like your style!

Leading the team isn't that hard.  You just need to motivate people, check up on them every now and then, and make sure the spreadsheet is up to date at the end of the week.  If you have a question, just holler.

For a team name, how about vixenators, team not-so-vixen, or we could be nice and go with team epiphany.

Got my goals entered on the spreadsheet.  I decided to take a couple miles out of my run goal, but threw in a minimal swim amount for the heck of it.

Hey Team!

I thought I was doing good looking for this today - and here you've been rolling for a while   Late to the party here, too!  This looks like a fun and WINNING group!!

Thanks to GoGoGo for the help with the SS - I'll get my stats entered tonight.  Gotta write my plan first - YIKES!

Happy Training!
Renee

P.S.  Checkout Universal Sports tomorrow for an Ironman "marathon"   That will help my motivation on the trainer!

Hi Team!
Just checking back in again. Very chatty, I love it!
I'm going to finish up with my plan this evening and enter my time-based goals to the spreadsheet tonight. I'm really looking forward to the Ironman marathon on US New Year's Day. I'm keeping all of them for trainer time. Lately I've been watching Charmed, and I just don't like myself as much anymore.
And I like Team Epiphany fine. There's an awesome modern symphonic band piece titled "The Epiphanies." It was really cool and weird and kind of creepy. It was one of my favorite pieces to perform ever.

Something with Epiphany sounds good to me - sounds like a band. heh.

Just logged my goals. It's gonna be a stretch but there it is!

Wow. And here I thought "motivation" meant tasering my teammates into submission. Hm.... Nah, I'll just keep my "management style" as is.

Once you guys decide on a team name, let me know and I'll change the thread name to it.

Welcome Jen! I love me some Juniperjen.

Ugh, hubby and I just got home from our anniversary dinner and so I am floating on air a bit as I catch up on posts and he watches the end of the Canada/US World Jrs game (yes, we are kinda nerdy - no NYE parties for us, despite several invites).

I'm off to enter my goals right now. Team Epiphany or Team Not-So-Vixen? Cast your vote now. Final decision to be made tomorrow.

Looking forward to a fabulous January with you all!! Happy New Year!!

Jan 1 is almost over here in Japan and I got out for my first run of the year. It was snowing with about 3-4 inches already on the ground and a 20 mph wind in my face. Still, I love running in fresh snow and it was a good way to start the year. I'll vote for Epiphany.Dan

Thanks all so much for the suggestions for how to approach my goals. I think since my plan is time based I'm going to go for time, and maybe give myself a little tiny buffer in case I miss one workout in each discipline.

Has anyone else had the phrase "First is the worst, second is the best" stuck in their head today? Go Team Second!

No... but now I do! My 5 year old picked it up at summer camp and used to say it all the time. Now I have it running over and over in my head in her voice!

Don't worry about Charmed... my "secret" tv watching for the trainer is DVR's 90210 and Melrose Place episodes.

It's much better when we have a 24 reruns from Netflix - I have good TV and my husband hops on his trainer too.

OK, now for some "real" posts... Can you tell I'm bored with the kids cartoons at 7:30 am on New Years Day? We are at my sister in laws house so I feel bad waking everyone else up!

Anyway, I planned out my goals yesterday and will get them in the spreadhseet today or tomorrow when I get home. I will increase my run and bike goals from last month and also add some swims back in and add some pushups and situps. I've been too lazy to go to the pool and I've been trying to do the 100 pushup plan. I've been stuck on Week 4, Day 1 for 2 weeks!

OK, off to make some breakfast..

Happy New Years everyone!

Yikes, I just came on to check up while the kids eat breakfast and I don't think it's a good idea to drink and BT! I signed up for some pretty aggressive goals last night considering I'll be starting a brand new job in January.

I guess that's why they call it a challenge!!

I like the idea of being called The Epiphanies, rather than Team Epiphany, but that's just me.
I got a run in today, and have some time planned on the bike for tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying 2010 so far.
