Got a swim in last night.  Getting closer to my goal there.  Hit my goal on the bike and have a couple more to go on the strength.

How is everyone else doing?

D001 - 2010-03-26 10:11 PM In other, less happy news..... I finally gave in and went to the doctor. After 10 months of heel pain, I figured it was time.... End result.... It's PF. (Yeah, I wasn't surprised. I just haven't been able to get rid of it, which is why I finally went to the doctor.) And I won't be running any more this month. I'm supposed to REST the stupid thing. (Do you suppose that's why it never got better?) Rest? Um. I have a 5K next week..... OK, I'll compromise and walk it, instead of wogging it. Bummer though, because I'm sure I could have had a PR. Oh well. At least I'll pick up another new t-shirt.

Ugh, I know from secondhand experience how frustrating PF is.  My husband has issue with it for more than a year.  New shirts are always good though!!

Happy Saturday, bEASTies!  Beautiful, but COLD day here.  This afternoon, I'm taking my 10yo daughter and 7 of her friends to lunch at Red Robin (outstanding burgers!) and then to see How to Train Your Dragon in 3D, followed by a sleepover... Luckily, only 2 of the girls will be staying over.  Tomorrow, we're going to Target to get my wife a bike and then we're going to do some family biking.  Actual workouts for the weekend are still a big question mark, but all goals will be met by months end.  Have a great weekend all!

I plan on my 3rd longer outside ride today. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit more.  Gonna be a cold one none the less.

Might take my old bike since the roads are still sandy and I am riding alone.  Still a little nervous about my skill level on the Felt for a solo ride.  I'll see how I feel in an hour or two.

Sucks about your foot, Dee. Rest and get better.

Sounds like everyone else has some workouts and eating on tap for the weekend.  The Dragon movie looks good.

Strength for me today.  It's freaking cold outside again today.  Supposed to warming up by Easter, though - fingers crossed.  I'd like to get the bike outside.

4 more days, bEASTies!!!  Rock it!!

Just updated the spreadsheet...
Run - 56.3/60 mi - 93.8% Smile
Bike - 122.7/120 mi - 102.3% Laughing
Swim - 4500/10000 yds - 45% Frown
TOTAL - 80.4% Undecided

I know the swim looks bad, but I should be able to knock that out Mon-Wed.  If I can do a mile each day, that's 5400, which gets me to 99%.  Unfortunately, I don't have a pool close to home to swim in and do all my swimming at lunch time during work.  I'll also get a run or two in between now and then, so that will also be over 100%.

BE SURE TO UPDATE THE SPREADSHEET TODAY OR TOMORROW MORNING SO WE CAN SHOW THOSE TWISTERS WHO'S BOSS!!!

GO BEASTIES!

Right now, she just wants me to rest it and do some basic stretching stuff. You should have seen the look on her face when I asked about doing the 5K. :)

If you did it right you might have seen her head explode ;)

It was in the 20's this morning!!! Surprised

Today's another rest day for the leg. Tomorrow is either another rest or some yoga/Pilates. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday will be one swim, one bike, one run to finish me off for the month at 100% or better.

I highly recommend finding a dr who does Mayo Farcial Disruption Technique.  http://mfdt.com/mfdt/whatmfdtis.asp  My PF was so bad in both feet I could barely walk.  Now they are both doing great.

Thank you! I'll look into this.

Yeah, but I feel like I need to DO the 5k in order to WEAR the shirt. I mean, it's only a 5k -- I should be able to finish it, right?

OK, so maybe I'll be crawling at the end, but....

Maybe I should just try for the PR at THAT one. (Rather than the one next week.)

You should have carried a taser. You'd have been able to run a straight line that way.
