I did my first HIM at the end of August and have been struggling to get back into a regular exercise regime since then.  The new month has brought a new routine, so I have high hopes for October.

I have not been working out as consistently as I was earlier this year. My tendonitis in my foot has slowed my running goals. Frown I wanted to run a 10k or longer by the end of this month. I have had to back off the running and ride my bike more. It is has been colder and the days are getting shorter. I wish I had somewhere to swim at over the winter. (sorry for the complaining, I can do it but I am frustrated because I have stalled at 190.) I got close to my goal of 185# last month with a 187# but I was not able to stay that low. I am hoping to be more consistent working out and I will have to watch what I eat more carefully.

Although my birthday is this month so that will be a fat day!

Trying to get down to 210 this month.  This is going to be a tough month.  I can't ride my bike much anymore, my wife and I both have birthdays, and I have a reunion.  All in one month.  Grrrrrr.  Just keep moving.

Id like to join in too. i'm always complaining to my friend about my weight and its about time I do something about it lol so here i am @ 138 I'd like to be at 130 by the end of the month.

Question though, any recommendations on foods or workout plans for weight loss.. any little bit helps right? lol

Not a great result, but considering that I'd been on multiple airplanes the day before, I'm not concerned.  I'm out of town again right now, but getting lots of exercise and so far, sticking to my eating plans with ease.

I had to ask my wife if the scale was accurate for her or acting funky, as the numbers are dropping.  I am not severely limiting my calories or starving myself, but I did change some behaviors (eating smaller meals every 3 hours, 1 soda a day limit if that, no after dinner "snacks") and it seemed to take a while, but once the loss kicked in, it's seeming to accelerate (I keep thinking about those diseases for which rapid weight loss is a symptom  :^)  Guess it just took a while for the metabolism to kick in?

The most important thing I am learning though, is that the way I perceive myself doesn't seem to change even 10 pounds lighter, like I thought it would.  Funny that....

Wow, Chris - nice drop!  You know, I found that for me, it took awhile on my new way of eating before the scale started to cooperate.  I think my body was waiting to see if I was seriously sticking to this and once it realized that I was, the weight started to move.  Maybe your's is the same way? ;-)
