I here that Brad Pitt guy is single again.  And everyone knows that his "alleged" girlfriend is a lot more into the fairer sex than she is into him... he seems athletic enough.

Two words:

SUGAR DADDY!

Was that an Offer or a Suggestion?

Hey, line to apply starts BEHIND me!

On second thought, I'm probably too gassy to qualify. Frown

Why don't you look for a job in Atlanta? You would probably make more and you would be happier here.

Just a suggestion.....

I'm trying.  There's not a lot of opportunities in Atlanta for  pharmaceticals, unless it's sales.  And I can't get my foot in the door for that.  I've been trying for 6 years now.  I'm waiting for Comet to quit her job so I could snag hers

*Notice on my list I didn't include "get rid of my tri coach".

Quit posting so much here on BT and get a second job making burritos, you seem to have a passion for that

Although I have a passion for burritos, I cannot let that interfere with my particiaption on BT.  That's one thing I need to consider about any new job

San Diego??  I used to work in Pharma in SD..  the Pharma employment market has it's swings..  but Jobs can be had..

Jersey always has a TON of pharma jobs too

I am honestly trying to get away from the same job that I have.  I moreso don't hate my company, but I hate the type of work I do.  I need something different

Or just get rid of your cats Janelle. Cats are stupid anyway.

Renee - 2005-12-13 4:16 PM

Don't go cheap on your cat food. It's not worth it. You'll end up spending more money on vet bills because of the ailments they'll get due to being on a poor diet. Stick with the Science Diet.

You've never been more right. You could alway eat the cat to save a few bucks on food. Cat burrito.

As much as I hate my job it has been really cush for almost 2 years....pay is enough to live and do most of what I want to do (not great, not terrible). I have unlimited access to the internet and a boss and coworkers that I can tell off and no one cares. Very laid back. Whats not to like about rolling out of bed, putting on jeans and a race t-shirt and going to play on BT? Its all good until you realize you don't use your brain and get bored. Otherwise its great.....

Saving money by working my job:
1. Live in town (excellent for training)
2. Free lunches on Thursdays
3. Unlimited cokes and a stocked kitchen (they even buy healthy stuff now because of me)
4. Good hours

I think they're great during training too...carbs and tons of salt. I buy the big box from Sams.

Comet:  Ramen noodles rock.

And instead of using your home phone, why not get rid of your home phone and just go mobile?  Nites & weekends are free, rollover minutes, you can talk all of BT into getting the same carrier as you so talking to THEM will be free, and you don't have to check 2 sets of messages.  This move alone saved me about $60/month.

And use the 3558 cat disposal service.  Annoyance gone.

Damn skippy!! Thanks kreuser and lara! Chicken is my favorite too...go with the orange. Oh, and PB&J is da bomb too.

Janelle, just up your cell plan and get rid of your home phone. It is actually cheaper. My nights start at 7pm, free weekends, and unlimited texts for $5-cuts down on the minutes used for little crap like where you'll meet friends for workouts and such. Oh, and if you find your favorite friends' carriers and go with that one, you won't get $800 cell bills....not that I wouldn't know anything about that.

Don't get me started. Noot has been a good girl this year (read: I feel guilty for not seeing her b/c of training) and its something she would never buy for herself.

Hijack over: Janelle, save money by not having an $800 cell bill.

Vin Diesel got an $800 cell phone bill once. He ate the bill, sh*t out a grenade, and blew up a verizon store.

I LOVE Ramen Noodles!! I like to top by ramen with a fried egg (over easy) and a slice of fried spam. Even better if I can add a couple stalks of Chinese greens. Mmmmm.... yummy..

You don't need to worry about me doing that.  I regularly check my minutes throughout hte month to insure I don't go over.  I'm so paranoid about haivng an enromous phone bill- especially after hearing about yours!

Make my cats eat the cheap cat food like Purina instead of the expensive Science Diet food.

I think you have come up with some great ideas, but I would suggest keeping your cats on the "expensive" food.  The other food is cheap for a reason, because its just not as good.  I work as a vet tech and have seen numerous health problems arise with cats (and dogs) due to poor quality food.  The owners end up bringing in very sick animals (which sometimes require surgery) and leave with a fairly substantial vet bill.  So, my advice is to pay the money now (for the good stuff) in order to avoid paying the money later (for the vet bill)
