I'm in. My Dec. goal was 26,000. I made it by about 800 yds. So let's see, I'll use that number instead of my original goal. 26,850 plus 2,685 is 29,535. I'll push that up (YIKES!) to 30,000.

I'm a little nervous about that, but hey? Why not? (o:

By far the coolest challenge idea I've seen yet.  And I would SOOOO love to participate...but I can't   Which is so sad because I will be doing some serious meterage ramping come summer...would have been perfect.  But no way will I be doing 44k this month and that is what my goal would have had to be per the rules

I shouldn't because I really need to concentrate on getting some running miles, but I don't want to forget how to swim so count me in too. I'm not sure how many months I'll try to hang on for but I'll do January at least. My December commitment was 10km but that was taking a week of holidays into account. Put me down for 13km in January, please.

Edit: ... and I'm already behind! I skipped swimming yesterday because of a cold that wont go away yet, but I'll catch that up.

I would love to join this race, but I don't start swimming again until the 14th. due to my wife's business travel plans.   Can I get a waver for this month and do (Dec distance + 10% ) +10% for the month of  Feb.    (22600 m + 10%) + 10% = 27350 m

Why not join this month but just do 16/31 * (22600m + 10%)? Around 12,500m. It doesn't matter to me, just keep up the workouts!!!

So , waiting for the news.  Can I play ??.  .   I did some " goes-intas" ( you know - 2 goes inta 8 and   3 goes inta 9 ) andI figure that if I base my distance on what I pledged in Dec. + 10% = 22000m  I can  still play based on the original rules even though I missed almost two weeks of pool time.  If not can I be included for Feb. with a total distance of 27350m

Sitting in my office with speedo and goggles on waiting for my wife to get back.
