Actually I think Montana has gone back to having a speed limit again.
In Australia road trains are pretty common along the outback highways (which are 2 lane roads and many without speed limits.) Make sure you have a good grip on the steering wheel when you pass one going the other way...
Road trains can be 50 meters (a little over 150 feet ) long.
They DO have speed limits (110 km/hr comes to mind ), but 'roos don't give you tickets when they stop you
