Just a thought... I like to play cards every now and then, but should I really be able to watch more poker on TV than triathlons? I know there aren't many races to air, but it certainly says something about our society when you can turn on the tube and get a world series of poker from three years ago, on three different channels.

Angeb - 2006-10-13 3:51 PM what does bump mean?

Bump means to push this thread back to the top of the page, so it doesn't fade away to page 2,3,4,5,ect ect.     Especially if it is a relavant page that has usefull information.  And if it is one that I started.  Mine are always important ones. <img align='middle' src='https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/wink.gif'>

Man, I'd take this guy on his offers especially if you don't have OLN (VS). The ones he made available to me came out great. No commericals too.

If you have any more you don't mind sharing, just let me know.

Thanks again.

Needless to say the earthquake/power-outage messed up my recording schedule.

I did record the Nautica Malibu Sprint though. I removed the commercials and saved it in a higher quality format. Even though the footage is only 30 mins the file size is a little big due to the higher degree of quality. There are some Hollywood types in this one if you're into that sort of thing.

I was trying to get CDA today but for some reason the TV schedule got jacked. It'll be on again and I'll try to get it then. I will DEFINITELY do my best to get IMWI 'cause I know we've got some BTers that would really like a copy of that.

FWIW... I currently have three items recorded.

IM Kona 05

IMAZ 06

Nautica Malibu Sprint 06

If anyone would like further information... send me a PM.

Sorry, Sunday's earthquake messed up my plans to record IMCDA but it is broadcast again on Sun so hopefully it'll record while I'm in Kona.

I watched IMMOO yesterday.  Very impressive to watch the triathletes overcome the elements.

Good   Great crowds and great fans.  Maybe 2008

IMWI-06 is up. It is missing the first minute +/- but the start is still there. I tried to re-record it yesterday but the time change seems to have messed up my TV schedule. Oh well... I don't think I missed much. PM me if interested.

On Sunday, they were showing some dirt bike or atv or something like that event.  And I was so looking forward to seeing St. Croix after watching the NYC marathon coverage Frown

I searched my ReplayTV schedule for the string "Triathlon" and it looks like Versus will be replaying the St. Croix Tri on November 22.

Thought Everyone might wat to see the updated calendar from the past week:

Sunday, November 19, 2006
3:00PM - 4:00PM IRONMAN TRIATHLON (TV-NR)
St. Croix Ironman 70.3
As legend has it, the Mocko Jumbie protected these islands for centuries. From their towering heights they would spot evil spirits approaching and with their supernatural powers they would ward them off. Today, while evil spirits don't hold the same fear factor as they did centuries ago, on this island, there is still much to fear. Unrelenting heat, excruciating humidity and brutal climbs. These athletes don't need to be told what's coming, they've either been here before or have heard the tales. The Mocko Jumbie still reside over this island, but this time, they can't stop what's about to happen...and these triathletes, wouldn't have it any other way!!! American Joanna Zeiger goes for a record tying 5th title as the best professional triathletes from the US and around the world tackle what many consider the most difficult Ironman 70.3 event in the world. From Christianstead, St. Croix in the United States Virgin Islands, Versus has the 18th edition of the St. Croix Ironman 70.3 Triathlon.
