I just administered this thread a lethal injection of methadone, my humor, and microsoft bugs.  It should stop moving momentarily.

I'm sorry I guess I was mistaken before when I said I was the Post killer. It turns out that actually I am the Walrus. Coo Coo ca Choo. I always get those two mixed up. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It's amazing since apparently everyone on this board is a thread killer how any threads get past 4-5 total posts...

Oh, and I think stupidnickname swore that he was the ultimate post killer.

TCU kills threads because people are unsure how to line up the T, C, and U.  They get stagefright, and just bail...

I have a feeling this post will never get killed and SO FRESH is out one perfectly good self-fulfilling, post killing prophesy.

LOL, from above "Hi, I'm Suzanne and I make conversations stop," wasn't that the worst from college parties? Hahhahaha... Hey. How come no one is lauhging with me???

I just realized we are going about this the wrong way.  We can all pretend to be post killers, but there is really one glaring example of the ultimate post killer.

You know how certain threads are "stuck" to the top of the forum board?  Well, way back March of 2004 Welshy posted on the Forum Guidelines thread at the top of the TRI TALK board.  Not only was this ultimate thread killing post done looooooong before almost all of us were members, it is on a thread on the most visited board on the site, that we all see every time we go there.  Yet for 2.5 years not a single person has seen fit to comment further on that thread.  I think that stands as a record for combined durability and visibility of a verifiable "kill".  I hope nobody wrecks it just to be a dork, now that I've pointed it out.

I nominate Welshy as the ultimate thread killer.

The Ultimate Post Kill:
(any further replies must be in response to this, otherwise you're hijacking)

I will attempt to use quantum mechanics to determine that a post is never killed.

Suppose BT'ers know what would have a thread removed. This condition implemented would cause a measurement of a killed/not_killed system (position). This causes a continuum of momentum states. These momentum states can be interpreted as fequency of post kills. Since there is a limit to the number of post kills in a day, the expected value (given probability) of momentum is zero.

Quote for the day:
"Quantum mechanics is made up. Whenever a physicist finds this out, they are given a Nobel prize and forced to derive 50 pages of math to hide the fact"

The crickets in the background remind me of one of my previous conversation stoppers: Conducting a meeting with a room full of people and team member Marcel was supposed to dial into bridgline and report status. We come to Marcel's spot on the agenda and she hasn't joined the meeting yet. In an obvious (to me) reference to the mime Marcel Marceau, I say "Marcel's unavailable, she must be stuck in her imaginary box again" ....... the room got so quiet that I could hear the phone ringing in the conference room on the next floor.

Fellow BegginnerTriathletes I submit this to you - If I kill this post .... with the story of another conversation stopper ... that references a character that did not speak .... I am the king!
