But just once I'd like someone to be into me for my mind instead of my tongue... LOL

 I've been called a lot of things, but "hot" is never at the top of the list, thanks for the complements!

When I bouht my wetsuit last year for my first OLY, the guy at the shop asked me what it was for and I told him it was for the OLY triathlon.  He looked me up and down and said, with a smirk, "You do triathlons?"...as if I was an intruder into his sacred fraternity of elite bodied/lifestyle athletes.  I finished anyway.

I'm nervous as he!! about the HIM in 6 weeks, but I'm leaning towards believeing that I met my goal as soon as I take my first swim stroke on race day.  For the sake of Ken and my wetsuit salesman, I hope you finish.

I gotta tell you this thread is a wonderful compilation of humor and support.  Just a few of my favorite observations:

1.  How cool is the word asshat?

2.  How sexy are women that call men dicks?

3.  No matter what country you go to, women love guys with long tongues.

4.  Buckeye is way cool

5.  It is amazing how big things are when they happen, and how little they are after we cool off a bit.

Some snarky troll has incited a BT mafia uproar.  In the process of this uproar, we have found out some very important information:

Welshy looks like someone who can give a mean tongue-lashing.

At this point I don't think anyone's really mad anymore, we're just trying to see who can be funnier.

See... I would be peeved about the use of the female anatomy as a describer to imply that someone was "less of a man"...

But that doesn't at all detract from the fact that I think this Ken fellow is less than HUMAN.

I have to say, I totally agree with what you posted.

That said, I looked at your logs, and just looking at them scares me as far as doing an IM.  I'll be waiting with interest to see how it works for you.

The main thing is though, it sounds like you are going to enjoy yourself whatever happens...

I have NO doubt that you are gonna finish your IM, and in true Welshy style at that!  I wish I could be there to see your smiling face cross that finish line!!  I will be watching online though.

You have been an inspiration and motivation for me for a long time now.  Your words ring thru my head at EVERY race....2 years ago for my first Oly, when I was looking at the water scared to death, you, in a very stern tone said...."G8R, DON'T BE A PU$$Y"!!  It still works today!!   Thanks for who you are Tom!!

And dreamer, I have done more training than that, but haven't really logged anything for a couple weeks and was never very dilligent about logging workouts anyway...
