August - 2nd Annual Boy's vs Girls Swim / Run Challenge !! (Page 2)

My goal is up the ante from my July totals, so I'm going for

Running: 75mi

Swimming: 25,000m

This kind reminds me of college when we used to have "Two Piece Parties" and you were only allowed to wear 2 pieces of clothing.  You could wear t-shirt/shorts, a dress/hat, just underwear, two socks, etc. etc.  There was always the "two piece police" checking to make sure everybody was appropriately (un)dressed.  Good times. But I digress.  I'm looking forward to getting faster and stronger, and then checking out the girls ASSATARS.

OK, I updated the SS to Draft1, see attached.  It's an Excel file zipped, so one must unzip it and then have Microsoft Excel or another program that will open MS Excel 2002 files.

I need to explain the "Pace" row for each discipline.  It's based on the Monthly % completed for each week.  Week one has 4 days so 4/31=12.9%.  12.9% of your goal is what the "pace met" is looking at.  Don't get too worked up about it as it's only for reference.  With build and recovery weeks it won't line up for most.

I also had to convert all metrics to yards and miles as when I view logs of others it will default the viewing to my selection.

Here's what I have for teams so far, please confirm!!!

I just took a look at the SS..... Nice!  My 20k meter swim works out to 21.8k yards O.K.

But my 50km run is now 54.6 miles.  The conversion factor is not right.  I can change my logs to reflect my run in miles if that would make the job easier.

Hey good catch, I forgot the extra calc yards to mile! It's 31.05 miles, no need to change your settings.  

Also found I wasn't giving Haz his full due in the swim too! I updated the file (attached draft2).

If I were a girl, instead of swimming, it would probably be in my best interest to just spend my time shopping for the perfect Speedo.  Gotta look good in that picture!!

     All right, this is looking good so far. I'm really looking forward on seeing our ladies in their 2 peice speedo's next month.

     Please verify your information, this is the short hand of what Donto has created. If you are having problems in viewing Donto's file, you can always right click on the file and do a "save as" to your desktop, then you can click and browse.

 Donto, I have the gray stuff that needs to be added, and also we need for kleinrider and hazmaster to verify you run distances. If they are correct on my spread sheet, Donto, would you please update the master sheet with the correct distances. Thanks for keeping track.

OK, I verified and got it all included in Draft 3, along with Pipscweek's 4000 yards and 20 miles.
