All right - we must get Tim (newleaf) in on this because it is growing fast and we'll definitely need another place in Reston. Come on Restoners...speak up! I do not live in Reston. |

There are some other 20's, early 30's that should be in as well! Of course all ages are welcome/encouraged! Yeah - some of us will be the old-age of 31 on the 26th! As of today I am still 30 unlike some people. |

But you're somewhere out in the boonies I live in Falls Church near Tysons. Not the boonies. So too far from Reston to be of service, sadly. And I think my roommates would totally freak out if a bunch of strange, drunken, costumed cyclists that I only know from the internet showed up at the townhouse...our dog would go nuts, though. |

Hopefully, to quote a previous poster from this thread, there will be a group ride for us "older folks." We will probably do the Old Folks' Ride earlier though, so afterwards we can go somewhere and get the "Early Bird Special" for dinner. |

Though I constantly debate the other meaning of "strange" when it applies to this board |

Subject: RE: Halloween Costume Ride & Marine Corps Carbo Load dinner!! Sorry for the location flub, Tim. Is it Steve who's in Reston? I lose track. And, hey Doc - ahem...problem with 31??? Hmm? Unlike some people?...tisk tisk tisk. Michelle & I were just talking about how age is no secret for triathletes! I'll be darned if I write mine on the back of my calf for this ride, though - would totally clash with the costume! I am so glad to see how this has so quickly grown. I know ALL of us of ALL ages and ALL locations will have a BLAST! (or, get blasted...something like that) |
