Is that for today or until the race?  Because I'm finished training for the day.

OK, funny  story about Mark time!

Mark and I were out riding....maybe 40 miles out...went had gone down this spur (dead end) becuase there are some nice rollers and we're training for Louisville.  When we got to the end of this dead end road I stopped and said I had to pee.  I was standing by my bike about to pee and Mark says, "Here, I'll hold it for you."  I told him that I like to hold my own thing when I pee'd.  He turned about 3 shades of red and said "I meant I'd hold your bike!!".  I laughed for the next 10 miles!

Pegasus1731 - 2009-03-07 1:41 PM Hello all of you wonderful people!! Happy Saturday!!!

Happy saturday to you. I got to ride my bike outside today. In shorts! It's a great day here in Ohio, the temp is in the 70's. Hopefully it stays like this until tomorrow so I can run in short sleeves. Happy training.

First week of training done. Went alright. Can't wait for the good weather to hit. Also when the wife is off for the summer training will get a little bit easier.

What's up all?  Hope everyone had a great week.  I'm back from vacation and ready to put my nose to the grindstone.  Training starts again (despite my best intentions I didn't "train" while on vacation although I got in several really great runs in some hot weather) today!

I'm still slowly building up to Iron volume that's in Don Fink's competitive plan ... I've been about on board with his "just finish" plan, though, so I figure I'm doing well.

Stop by Mike's (Rogillio) logs if you can, sounds like he needs a picker-upper.

HOLY COW!!  I plan to volunteer this year, then sign-up and do IMKY in 2010.  I got a wild idea that maybe I would do the training camp this July, just so I have an idea what to expect.  WOW!  The training camp is $1400 (includes an entry into the 2009 race).

What is the entry fee for IMKY?  I was guessing $600 or so?  $1400 for entry, two hotel rooms and a little guidance just seemed a little pricey!

I think it was 525 through active.com.  I'm doing the Playtri camp this July in Louisville.  Check it out.

Yeah congrats Mark, suddenly I no longer have the best excuse for missed training. My 10 week old is suddenly the veteran around here so no more excuses.
