Alright, I got a run in today.  3.25 miles.  And heading out in a bit for a brick bike/run.  I might have to adjust my goal...I had to take a few days off for some health reasons.  But am feeling back on track now.  Hooray!

Donskiman - 2009-10-13 6:00 PM A little over 10 miles today. The weather is still on the cool side. It's supposed to be much warmer tomorrow. I'll have to run early tomorrow because I have to start the bowel prep for a colonoscopy on Thursday at noon.

Been there...no fun. I have another coming up next month

MDHillSlug - 2009-10-13 12:49 PM I told the PT's that I felt I was about ready to try some easy running this weekend but they weren't nearly as enthusiastic about this idea as I was; they'd like to add it into my routine so as to be "in a controlled environment". I know I need to be patient but I'm disappointed.
Will they allow you to use a treadmill as a controlled environment?  When my hips act up and I have to lay off for a bit I try to get the first run back on a treadmill with no incline and a bit slower than my usual pace for maybe 1-2 miles max.

Yes, I'm sure that's what they have in mind. On the plus side, it's one of those Woodway treadies that Mila thinks so highly of.

Not too much...she's a typical teen on FB and myspace more than anything (if not the couch)

Donskiman - 2009-10-11 9:41 PM 34.9% is right where we all should be at this point in the month. Good job if you're there. If we can keep it up we'll all hit 100% and wind the challenge.

There are 2 people listed on our team spreadhseet with nothing logged. Does this count against us?
No, it doesn't count against you. You'll notice there are no numbers there at all, so they aren't used in calculating the "Team average." The blank lines were people who signed up for the challenge, but never entered a goal or who had to withdraw due to illness/injury. Your team average is only calculated using the numbers appearing in the "Run Percent Completed" column. And yes, 35% is exactly on target to meet your goals.

Hey, since these people have no goals and have met their challenge by achieving no goals, it looks like they should be at 100%. :-)

Or maybe I should taser them for not posting a goal, after saying they wanted to be in the challenge.

100% of 0 is still 0.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

TMI TMI TMI TMI!!!!!!!

Actually, tomorrow would be a good day for you to be on BT all day. After all, you'll be sitting in one place for awhile.... Might as well just move the computer nearby, and help your team with the secondary challenge.

I left her an Inspire and asked her to come to this thread to say hi; probably won't accomplish anything.

Oh hells, I just popped the top off a Jubelale.  I think the trainer session is bunked...unless I do it much much later tonight.  It's so COLD here now and all of a sudden all I want to do is eat squash, drink seasonal ales, and watch football under the covers.  Hmf.
