annabananamc - 2009-11-26 8:58 AM HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!! Well, you guys have got me this far - goals are in reach! I did my own version of a 5K this morning and we'll be hiking in the woods this afternoon. I am still on target and I would have blown off the whole month without this challenge, so thank you all for the inspiration. I hope you all enjoy a wonderful day today!

Good for you!  And Dee didn't even get out her taser

I did a 5 mile Turkey Trot with my son yesterday...I am almost at 100% for the run. I need to lift everyday left this month to meet my goal ( need a kick in the butt). I WILL meet my goals. Thanks Turkeys.

Hope everyone had a good holiday and you are all enjoying Black Friday!

Sounds like everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.  Mine was fabulous yet exhausting.  20 people at my house was a lot of fun but a lot of work too, especially when the majority were little kids.  I'm just glad the rain held off and they played outside most of the day.

Today we are headed to the movies.  Family movie day.  I can't wait!  Then I'm thinking about shopping but I don't know.  There isn't really much on sale that my kids are after.  But I love the excitement of it all!

Family movie day sounds awesome! I am just back from a treadmill 5K and a cybex circuit to add to my numbers. Puts me as needing just 1 run, 2 strength, and 15 minutes of flexibility to hit my goals...I am so there!!!

While I was at the Y, I decided to rejoin the challenge there - it started Oct. 12th and I just have to go back and log my strength and cardio and then continue on...it should help with the next couple of months.

HAPPY WEEKEND TURKEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks...over 100% for the run! I completed 82 miles this month. I really want a 100 mile month and may push the next three days.
I lifted today. Thanks Slickster!!!! I have 4 sessions to do in three days. More butt kicking needed!!!!

Morning Turkeys.  I'm going to have to find some time to get on the trainer.  I've gained some weight over the past few days/weeks and I need to get it off.  Stat!

But, as usual this time of year, I am super busy.  Son's appointment this morning, shopping date this afternoon with hubby, family time tonight.   It's all about finding that balance, huh?

You're funny Marianne!

I didn't get the trainer done yesterday but I did get it done this morning.  That one hurt.  Jorge's house of pain is killing me!

Hey all, hope everyone had a great week - got in 2 OWS, 3 spins classes, and 4 core workouts (as well as some yoga and a little elliptical) while on the cruise...  So I am at 140% on bike, 120% on swim, and 100% on core - gets me to 105% for the month...  I might even get in a few more workouts before the stroke of midnight tomorrow...

OK guys, I am down to the wire but determined...gonna get some strength in now before work and will do a treadmill run later at the gym after work, and get 15 minutes of yoga in there sometime too to hit all my goals. If I can do it, I think we can all do it!

GO COLD TURKEYS!!!!

Last day guys!  I have good news and bad news.  Good news is I'm over 100% for my biking goal.  Bad news is that I am not going to get my last swim session done.   I'm hoping my overage on the bike will make up for my lack of swimming.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day and it's been a great month!

I'm with you.  I will be good on my running and strength work-out goals.  In retrospect, I probably should not have added the weight-loss one in there, esp. this time of the year

I'm impressed with how well everyone did!

Great Job Everyone - I reached all of my goals and went over a few to help out the team!  It was a great month for me, but I think the stuffing, sweet potatoes, etc put me over on some other non-welcomed goals too.....  I need some new December goals now!

Got in another short swim today... My shoulders were sore - from last Friday I guess...  3 1/2 hours swimming, playing,  and treading water will do that to a person I guess...  I think I can get a ride and a core in tonight...
