dcon - 2010-01-24 2:27 AMThe last person in our spreadsheet listing is "hattie101". That userid doesn't show up in a search. Even in the spreadsheet, it looks like the entries are not added into the summary column. Mistake? Misspelling?
Hm. I'm not sure. But it doesn't look like someone who is participating, so I grayed out the entry. If he/she shows up again, we can add the "total" calculations in.

Thanks Dee.

G'mornin' Peeps!

Boy the competition is close! Had a rest day yesterday and just finished a 5K recovery run. Legs feel pretty good, a bit stiff more than anything, so I will do some more stretching later.

My concentration right now is on my race preparation and running. I am not sure I will finish the other parts of my challenge but I will go over in my running section, so that might get me to 100%.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was just wonderful, especially now that the Saints are going to the Super Bowl!

Morning team! Final week! Great work everyone!! :D

I did a partial swim this morning as i was having wardrobe issues. Hee hee. So i'll finish it up tonight.

I did sign up for 3 more races for the year. That brings me to 5 - I think I am planning on 7 events ...  I am just eager. :D

Hope everyone is doing well!

Sorry, you don't just get to throw "wardrobe issues" out there and not give details.

Good morning, and Happy Monday!

I had a pretty good weekend.  Got my 12-miler in on Saturday, but I didn't end up getting to the gym to lift.  I'm pretty much on track to finish my run goal, but I'm going to have to hustle and put in some extra time in the weight room this week if I want to finish that goal by the end of the month!

Good job everyone... It looks like this challenge is really going to come down to the wire!!

haha!! Yeah, I have nike sport bikini that was just about done - at least I noted that the last time I wore it. I pulled it out this morning and because i was half awake decided to chance it.  Well,  bad move.  I started and every time I pushed off the wall I felt like i was flashing the pool.  I was so worried about it i was spending more time adjusting than swimming!

That's funny!  I had a similar occurrence not too long ago.  I forgot to throw out a pair of jammers.  I got to the gym, dug into my backpack, and all I had was this pair with worn out elastic.  I was determined to get my workout done, so I decided to chance it.  But, like you, everytime I pushed of the wall, I had to hold on or the moon was going to rise.

Hi all! Well, my swim and bike is going well, but I seem to have injured my foot and can't run without pain. I'm going to contact Dee for a goal reduction on the run. Keep up the great training everyone!

Surpassed my swimming goal for the month.  Since my running has been way down for the month, I've been able to substitue swimming time.  Hopefully, I can put in another 7,500 or 8,000 yards before the month is over.

As for the running, Dee granted me permission to lower my running goal for the month.  I should be able to come close to this new number.

Sigh... so jealous! I'm off to the basement for a not so scenic trainer ride... followed by a very short run on the treadmill (looking to make up some mileage) and a night of pushups and situps. What better way to spend a Monday night!

I got in a run already and will hit the health club for weights and more swim practice. The weights session will take me to 100% on that goal, my running will go over 100% on Thurs when I do my long run, and my swimming is way over already (mainly because I have been getting to the pool 5-6 times to week to try and practice changes that I'm picking up in a Monday swim lesson).

My cycling goal is still possible if I get three decent riding days by the end of the month. My bike trainer is scheduled to show up tomorrow and if that happens, I will have no excuses.

I was planning on taking this week off due to starting a new job but it looks like I will just make my goals if I don't take any time off.  I don't want to let the team down so I will start back up tomorrow.  I have had 4 days off so I think I should be recharged enough to finish off the month strong.

I found a site to watch "The Biggest Looser" on.  I figured if they can commit to their training plan I could to and I plan on using it as motivation for both my run and bike.

So, I was snooping on the WCW's page last night... most seem to be talking about 100% or MORE this week. So, we need to finish this week strong Epiphanies!!!

I have a run planned later today and may get my swim in too, depending on how my afternoon goes here at work. If not today for the swim, then definitely tomorrow. That will get me to 100% for the swim! Others to follow later in the week...

Heading out for a Run in 38F temps .  There is some ground to cover this week to reach 100%  but its doable .

Does it count if you go over 100%?  I was under the impression that it doesn't....

I'm already at 100% for my yoga goal, and am planning on reaching 100% for my run goal by Thursday (and will definitely go over, since I still have a long run on Saturday as well as a short recovery run planned for Sunday).  I hadn't gotten to the weight room as much as planned this month since marathon training got a bit in the way of my lifting schedule... But I lifted last night, so if I can get to the gym Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, it should be doable!

I saw on one of the other teams that we can go up to 105%. Not sure if that is the cap for each of the 4 parts, or overall for an individual.

Have a great run and I hope the sun is shining for you! I actually got outside to run here this past weekend. It was only about 30-35 degrees, but the sun was shining and it was just so nice to have fresh air and be off the dreadmill.

You can get up to 105% overall. But there's no limit on each individual goal.

For example, say you reach 150% of a goal. It'll show this on the spreadsheet, but in the overall totals column, it'll display 105%.

Hiya team,

I'm not dead, though I've felt it for quite a bit of the last week due to a severe cold and sinus infection.  Dee was kind enough to let me reduce my totals by those days so I now have an outside shot at hitting my goals.  I'll get in what I can so we will be sure to win!  Laughing

If I tase you, do you think you'd have a better chance of hitting those goals? 'Cause I can do that for you, you know.... (I'm such a giver.)
