Morning team

Morning run done, I am now on the 2 run / 1 walk part of the program ... I hope I could go faster then that but I don't want to risk to hurt myself again so I will behave ...

I have a trainer ride planned for tonight to complete this beautifull day.

Have a nice day everyone

Great job on the workouts! May I asked which timezone you are in?? Almost every morning the first one on the thread with already a workout in and inspires everywhere.... you and the queen are just role models for me.... I want to be a morning person when I grow up!

Edited for: THURSDAY MORNING TOPPAGE!!!

Thank you I am in EST, I usually try to get up around 5h30-6AM in the morning to get my run done before breakfast, I love doing this since it gives me the night free for a second workout.

Queen is the numero uno as far as inspire goes though.

I am in EST too.... But my alarm goes off at 6.30am and I can still manage to ignore that for another 15 to 20 minutes.... And I am in bed by 11pm the very latest... I guess, if I really want to be serious about getting up in the morning I have to set my alarm earlier and just get by butt out of bed... There was a morning buns support group at one time.... Or I can join Slugger's limiter challenge and put 3 morning workouts a week down as my goal.... Hmmmm.... something to think about.

I have always been a night person and working graveyard shift in the ER didn't help much. In a very insain period of my life I was working 7am to 1:30 am and going to graduate school full time. At least I think that was me, I do have a diploma on the wall that has my name on it so I guess that is right.

Stoplights are a great place to take a quick nap, just always remember to put the car in park. Don't worry about oversleeping, because either the person behind you will wake you up with a honk or you get another chance with the next red light. (Things I learned in graduate school).

So, for tonight, 25-30 mile bike ride (evil intervals for the first hour) and a short run, forget how far, probably a 2-3 mile.

Thanks gang

It's killing me to not run.  I really want to try but I have a PT friend here on the boards that will beat me into a pulp from NY if he sees me running before I'm allowed.

morning mother truckers.
yeah, i know it's 930 my time, and HARDLY morning anymore, but hey, this is how i roll.
it's raining like crazy out, so i'm definately going to run. i was going to go long, but i'm trying to decide what's smart. two days ago i went long, then yesterday i did short and fast. so PROBABLY i should just do my regular 2.5 and call it good. maybe i'll do my 2.5 THEN see how i feel, and maybe keep going. hmmmmm. i guess we'll see

good day to all truckers.

Afternoon Truckers. Just got in a two mile walk around the park at lunch time. I'm 5 for 5 this week. Tomorrow I'll get in six and then off to vacation with only 3 that have to be done, but planning on doing 5.

I love running in a light drizzle, not a flinning downpour though.  Nice run

What did you do in the ER?  I was an ER nuse for 15 years, just went into utilization review at the insurance ompany to get my weekends off and get away from the same folks coming in all the time for the sams dumb-azz complaints.

Did you all notice that Brett (UTTriman) is askeerd of Mila and I?  He has a peemptive strike in his log about an evening workout so we don't taser him or anything

Had to work late so I missed our group run.  I'm not real sure how upset I am about that since its 25 degrees with 25mph winds right now.  Anywho, off to swim

No one Askeered here -- just statin the facts ma'am.....

I'm getting ready to head to the gym now -- not sure exactly what I'll do when I get there though...  I just don't want to get on Mila or Her Majesty's poop list.   I'm not into whips, tasers or the like....

Seriously... Will probably try to run for 15 mins or so (see how the ankle feels) and bike for 15 or so.  Maybe even try and lift some lead or soething.   Planning on a swim in the morning, and spin class on Saturday.

Now -- just for the record -- I'm right on track for the challenge!!!!

I just KNEW that would make your day.  I am officially reporting in that I got my workout on.... but it wasn't pretty!

Put it bluntly -- I'm really discouraged right now.  Crappy time, ankle KILLING me, and I feel like I'm gonna puke.  But hey -- I got it done.

This too shall pass.   I'll get feeling better someday.   I have no room at all to complain, just really frustrated right now.

And yes -- I'm somewhat askeered of Her Majesty!

But --- I also VERY GRATEFUL for HER MAJESTY!..   She's kept me going!   Thanks Judi!
