I never swim in the morning, let alone twice in one week.

Good morning Robert. Hope you can get the appointment with your PT. I decided not to bike today because my knees were a little sore. It's an ongoing problem that I'm keeping at bay by self treating using trigger points.

Heading there at 10

Morning team!!!  Tonight, I'm planning on running.  Also have a meeting for the Richmond marathon training team.  Pretty sure that I'm going to sign up, although it makes me a little nervous.

Good morning!

I did a nice-n-easy run with my eye on Sunday's race. Feeling good, feeling confident!

Game on!

I did the Marine Corps Marathon last fall.  Ended up injuring my knee a lot and I'm finally recovered.  I didn't train that well on my own, so that's why I want to join a training group this time around.

The weirdest thing about the meeting tonight is that I told my husband about it and he wants to go.  He said he is thinking about signing up.  He's never run more than 6 miles before!  I don't want to talk him out of it, but I don't want him to get hurt.

I understand your apprehension.  I was talking to my sister last night and she told me she wanted to do one as well.  She only recently started running in the past 6 months and hasn't done more than 8 miles.  I'm going to try and help her approach it cautiously.

I'm pretty sure she got the idea from watching the biggest loser the other night.  Go figure.

I don't think he got the idea from the biggest loser.  He turned 30 this year and is one of the few people in his family who has not run a marathon.  I think he wants to do it because of that.

Maybe he can do the half at the same event if they offer it?

I tried that.  He's not so interested.  We'll see what happens at the meeting tonight.
