Expert 1067 Douglaston, NY | Subject: RE: Agritubel dalessit - 2009-07-09 2:09 PM So I am too lazy to go look, what is the Taser challenge about? The only one I ever do is the TdF one. Straight from Dee's training log: Slugger vs. the Taser Challenge Here's how it works: Slugger's total running time has to stay ahead of my total running time, or I get to taser her! Cool, huh? I thought so, too. |

We had the June Run Challenge last month. And people did really well. This month, Slugger wanted me to run another one. But they take a lot of time, so I didn't. She wanted to keep "motivated" to run, so we came up with the "Slugger vs. Taser" challenge. She has to run more than I do, or I get to "virtually taser her." Right now, she's ahead by just a couple of minutes. Next "check in" is on Monday morning.... |

I thought so, too. We worked out the details at around 3 AM. I was happy with them. LOL We started out the week checking one another's blogs every 20 minutes or so. Eventually, we decided to just have a check-in once a week, so we didn't end up killing ourselves or each other. (She was ready to do a 3 AM run, because I was ahead. LOL) |

Frugal Gear Geek 2199 having fun with the kids | Subject: RE: Agritubel ok folks, I put in my time on the open roads today with not one, but two stages. They were basicly the ride from my house to work then back. PRed both rides!! Go figurre. Took 1:05 off the previous best before today which was 54 minutes. The second ride took an additional 33 seconds off the first ride of the day!! For the record, there was a 5 hour gap of working on my fathers, now condembed to a bone yard, POS car. I thought I was done working on it when I gave it to him about 2 years ago. And for the record, I only do the TdF challenge. I love the tv coverage inspiring me more than anything else. I just stay away from threads in general. Got enough of them before BT got huge. Now it is all about inspires and CHAT!! on a side note, I am not sure, but I remember when tons of postings caused issues with BT's server and memory space. I do not know it this is a concern at all anymore, but just something to think about. Edited by Ontherun 2009-07-09 2:30 PM |
