Got my lawn mowed.  My new boots gave me blisters.  Boo.  Hopefully it won't bother me while running.  That would be a total bummer!  Really cute work boots but must they give blisters?  Maybe I need some better socks.

I have to admit Erica... I've never heard of work boots referred to as "really cute".

I'm with Erica -- work boots can be totally cute!

No run scheduled for me today, but I might do five miles after work anyway, just to see how the post-race legs are feeling.

Whoa.  Haven't checked in in a few days.  Y'all have been chatty!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was so busy that I forgot to run.  I made up for it today with a five-miler.  What georgeous weather today!  I sure wish it would stay like this for the rest of the fall season!

Hmmm... What was our challenge team that had a Links Table with boots? Vixen... somethings.

Here's the picture. Of course, let us NOT discuss just what type of work someone wearing these might be doing!

Nice lil' 4.6 mile run this evening after work. Good pace, too. With another run queued up for tomorrow, I'm feeling very good about this challenge so far.

No run for me today.   Gonna let the blisters go away.  Course if they aren't gone by tomorrow, I'll run anyway cause I'm impatient like that!

After my housework is done, I think I'll pack a little picnic lunch, grab my book and jump on my bike and head over to the state forest to read the afternoon away.  That sounds fun, I hope it happens and I don't get sucked into running errands.

That sounds like a great plan - certainly better than work!

Weather changed since yesterday - yesterday was mid-upper 50's in the morning.  Today it was 75 with 100% humidity - fog everywhere - ughhh...  I was sweatin' mightily....  I am ready for fall to be here for good this year.

Yes! I believe the heels are used for aerating!

Yes, the above shown boots ARE used for aeration.  At least that's what I told Mrs Chad when she caught me wearing a pair the other day...    O:

Ah yes...the Vixens team. (as in Donner & Blitzen, et al)

Again though, I probably wouldn't refer to these as "really cute." I could think of other adjectives though.

No, you're good. If we thought you weren't working out, we'd come to your house and zap you with a cattle prod.

We're givers like that.
