I'm Ok with the fuzzyness of peaches just not overly fond of the taste. They tend to make a dribbly mess too. |

I knew it well ... I also failed to use the clutch properly because it just took too much time to shift. I'd just jam that b**** into third or fourth and let 'er rip. I figured I could always buy a new clutch. Which I had to eventually. mjr66 - 2012-10-16 11:35 AM tech_geezer - 2012-10-16 11:30 AM TriAya - 2012-10-16 2:28 PM trinnas - 2012-10-17 2:19 AM mrbbrad - 2012-10-16 2:15 PM NRG42 - 2012-10-16 2:10 PM Samyg - 2012-10-16 12:53 PM Asalzwed - 2012-10-16 1:50 PM lisac957 - 2012-10-16 12:48 PM I'm suddenly craving pineapple ![]() I have one on the kitchen counter, come on over. Is pineapple in the kitchen counter the new "candy in the minivan" move? Candy in the minivan....why is this forgein to me? Because when you were getting lured into vehicles by strangers they were just called vans, not mini vans. I got told yesterday the term standard transmission is old timey when I asked one of the girls I row with if she knew how to drive a standard. *sigh* I really know how to handle a stick. My Mini Cooper has 127,000 miles on the original clutch. I am good in the clutch. And a big eHug and squeeze for my Bali princess, mistress of words and ideas. TW Some of us had to learn how to use a clutch properly. I remember driving some cars, ok they were old even back then, that did not have syncromesh on first gear so to change down you had to match the engine speed, drop the clutch and change. Still double clutch like that for racing When you get good you can rev match while shifting That's what we're talking about with heel-toe. |

Maybe I imagined all of it. But there is a limerick in there somewhere. |
