What are your feelings on peaches?

peaches gross me out.  i like my fruit smooth, not furry.  (was that a double enTANdre, i'm not sure)

Agreed!!!  I cannot eat them.  Freaks me out.  But I love the taste.  No furry fruit for me ...

i can't even touch them to buy them for the husband who doesn't mind furry peaches (!)

but if someone else peels them and gives them to me, i would eat them!

I 100% agree but at the same time, I've eaten a Kiwi with the skin on because I was impatient.

I'm Ok with the fuzzyness of peaches just not overly fond of the taste.

They tend to make a dribbly mess too.

All this talk of beautiful fruit is making me sad. I only have apples and bananas right now. What I would give for a juicy mango.

lisac957 - 2012-10-16 12:48 PM I'm suddenly craving pineapple Innocent

I have one on the kitchen counter, come on over.

Is pineapple in the kitchen counter the new "candy in the minivan" move?

Candy in the minivan....why is this forgein to me?

Because when you were getting lured into vehicles by strangers they were just called vans, not mini vans.

I got told yesterday the term standard transmission is old timey when I asked one of the girls I row with if she knew how to drive a standard.  *sigh*

I really know how to handle a stick.

My Mini Cooper has 127,000 miles on the original clutch.  I am good in the clutch.

And a big eHug and squeeze for my Bali princess, mistress of words and ideas.

TW

Some of us had to learn how to use a clutch properly. I remember driving some cars, ok they were old even back then, that did not have syncromesh on first gear so to change down you had to match the engine speed, drop the clutch and change.

Still double clutch like that for racing   toe the brake, heel on the gas.

Haha the heel-toe. I knew it well ... I also failed to use the clutch properly because it just took too much time to shift. I'd just jam that b**** into third or fourth and let 'er rip. I figured I could always buy a new clutch. Which I had to eventually.

When you get good you can rev match while shifting

That's what we're talking about with heel-toe.

Ya I like to mix things up a little. Need some sense of adventure. I just need an off button on the eating part of it.

Which could give you a HUGE advantage

Others: "didn't you see that boat starting like 20 seconds before anyone else?"

You: "NO! I did not see us...er...I mean that boat. Are you sure?"

I think Dr. Seuss wrote a little known book about furry peaches.  Of course, he was 3 sheets to the wind, and lonely.   He ultimately decided that discretion should prevent it being published.

Maybe I imagined all of it.  But there is a limerick in there somewhere.
