Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge UTTriman - 2008-11-20 8:08 PM You get close to puke factor it's definitely a good workout. Now go clean up nice for the wife...maybe she'll have some sympathy and get you an ice back for the ankle Or some cold frosty drink...a beer?QueenZipp - 2008-11-20 7:44 PM QueenZipp - 2008-11-20 6:42 PM UTTriman - 2008-11-20 6:30 PM ROTFLMAO!!!QueenZipp - 2008-11-20 5:32 PM Did you all notice that Brett (UTTriman) is askeerd of Mila and I? He has a peemptive strike in his log about an evening workout so we don't taser him or anything I love it when men know their place
No one Askeered here -- just statin the facts ma'am..... I'm getting ready to head to the gym now -- not sure exactly what I'll do when I get there though... I just don't want to get on Mila or Her Majesty's poop list. I'm not into whips, tasers or the like.... Seriously... Will probably try to run for 15 mins or so (see how the ankle feels) and bike for 15 or so. Maybe even try and lift some lead or soething. Planning on a swim in the morning, and spin class on Saturday. Now -- just for the record -- I'm right on track for the challenge!!!!
oh, should have edited this a while back...I knew you would react, proves you are askeerd of at least little ol' ,e I just KNEW that would make your day. I am officially reporting in that I got my workout on.... but it wasn't pretty! Put it bluntly -- I'm really discouraged right now. Crappy time, ankle KILLING me, and I feel like I'm gonna puke. But hey -- I got it done. This too shall pass. I'll get feeling better someday. I have no room at all to complain, just really frustrated right now. And yes -- I'm somewhat askeered of Her Majesty! But --- I also VERY GRATEFUL for HER MAJESTY!.. She's kept me going! Thanks Judi!

Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge Bike intervals for 40 min ish, total 30 miles biked, 3 mile run recovery day buys me #4 for a total of 16 countables, 1 more tomorrow will top off this reporting periods workouts. Then it is pack for vacation. Does driving 700 miles constitute a workout if it includes beating the children occasinally? |

Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge I was thinking that as I am driving 700 miles on Saturday, that if we run into Thanksgiving traffic coming out of the Sacramento, San Francisco merger on I-5 again I may just jump on the bike and get in my 60 mile ride while my wife drives in traffic and have her pick me up when she catches me 8). Or ... I could do my 8 mile run in the time it takes them to eat at McDonalds and play on the slide (60-90 min) rather than sitting there tapping my foot knowing that I will be driving the 9pm to 1 am shift in the car. Oh and btw I met my running goal for the year I am at 1000 miles + now 8). Almost there on the bike next week I should hit my 2500 mile goal. Edited by Baowolf 2008-11-21 10:52 AM |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge Okay team, got my 6 for 6 this week. 85% I fly out tomorrow and don't know if I will be able to get online at all while we are away. Will be logging my workouts on Sunday the 30th, so don't dispair that you are hearing anything from me. Have a great Thanksgiving everyone, and remember for every bite of Thanksgiving dinner you eat, you need to run 1/4 of a mile. |

Expert 919 Greenville, SC | Subject: RE: Mother Truckers Team Thread - Nov USMC Challenge Hello team, I was able to do the race and I am sooooo happy, but right now, I am just tired and need some rest for the remainders of today. Still not quite healty yet, so I will keep a low profile for the rest of the day. But.... Even with the cold, I was able to stay under 30 minutes for the 5K and that was my goal... As I said... I am very happy!!! And now I think I will get something to eat and then leave some inspires for our teammates that haven't logged their workouts yet. Happy Saturday everybody!!! |
