I see nothing....

(I'm at work. They don't let us see anything. But fortunately, I can see text, which means I can post on BT. Ha!)

Guess I'll have to check back tonight when I get home.... :P

Censorship is a terrible thing. (Then again, they DO own the computer I'm using, so....)

ebshot - 2009-10-06 6:20 AM No run for me today.   Gonna let the blisters go away.  Course if they aren't gone by tomorrow, I'll run anyway cause I'm impatient like that!

Just pop the blisters, put on some antibiotic, a bandaid, and go. You'll be fine!

I really want to know...what's the point of going to work when you have nothing do do? Who made up that rule?

Yeesh.

I have no idea.  There are times when I would be better off working at home (need a printer or a different computer or something) and I have to stay in the lab because it's expected.  It annoys me.

Hola EVIL running ones! Put 3 miles in today.  the legs were a little tired from spin last night.  We did lots of one leg pedaling.  If I didn't take my walk breaks I might have finally been under 10 minute miles...but that is a big if.....and I think I needed them today.  Well faster next time....  What's for dindin??

Taco night here.  The kids actually ate them for the first time ever!  No leftovers.  It's a MIRACLE!!!  Now I am enjoying a Blue Moon.  I love life!

Kathy, we really should run together sometime, especially once Hyannis training starts!

I'm thinking it might be burrito night here.  kids will eat them, little work for me... but does nothing for getting the greens in the fridge consumed.  hmmm.  We'll see my creative cooking energy level when I get home - and the kiddo-cuddle needs.

Saw my MuddyBuddy partner today--I got her doing tri's too.  We talked training and she said she was loosely following a 1/2Mary plan, which makes me feel a slacker now for grabbing a 10K plan... but the novice 1/2 Mary plan on HalHigdon looks more aggressive than I'm ready for-- I think I'll stick with my own plan for now and reconsider after this one feels solid.

Hi fellow Reapers!  Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday.  I was actually working from home today, so I was loving that!  I wish I could do it a lot more often, but sadly, that doesn't seem to be in the cards.  I managed to convince my boss to let me do it today because UPS was delivering the new monitor I ordered for my desktop computer at home.  My old one died over the weekend and I didn't want to risk having a monitor just sitting on my doorstep.  It arrived shorted after 2pm and only took me about 5 minutes get get connected.  I went with a 16:9 widescreen model and I'm loving it!

As for training, today was my first day of the 28-week conservative C25k training plan.  I figured since the ortho has me restricted to walking for another month, that would be an ideal plan to slowly get me back up to wogging once I get the go-ahead from the doc.  The first month is all very easy walking and then a very gradual incorporation of running after that.  Since I'm already walking more than 10 mins at a time (what today's plan calls for), I intend to stick with my current walking times rather than going backward.  I'll just keep that up until I hit the introduction of running next month.

Ok, that's it from me for now.  Catch you guys later!

I have never been one to be called quiet, low key, shy, bashful, (you get the picture) but boy am I having difficulty lately getting in here to be heard!   With that being said, I just wanted to pop in and say hi!

Also Kathy, thank you so very much for updating my stuff ~ I promise to be more on the ball!
