A nice reduction from August and I'm expecting October to be even lighter on the bike/swim.  Run should ramp up a bit though as I have an HM at the end of October.

it could be more than that for sure. 1st couple weeks, I was so lethargic. Feeling a bit better now, but not too motivated. Going to attempt a swim in the morning.

Heel up young lady!!!  Maybe head up here and get some fresh mountain air to rejuve that lower body of yours.

Nice to see some running back in the log, I'm a bit worried about how I'll cope with my Oly but I'm going to step up my Sunday runs to peak at 90 mins 1 week before the race while keeping the intensity low and hopefully that'll do it?????!

I am back from my tri this AM. I will post a RR when the results are posted. Just so you know, I had no shoe issues! However, it was a comedy on many levels! I was very relaxed through all the problems. But dayum, it was cold!!!

Decent month for me, but nursing an IT Band situation and had a really short week 2 weeks ago due to a sales meeting out of state.  Crunch time for the next 4 or 5 weeks.  Probably going to try to do a few short runs and keep the long stuff to a minimum.  I think that is what really stresses the ITB.  Maybe I should train my walking.  lol

Hey peeps. Here is another RR. It was a crazy day. I had lots of wheel issues and forgot my chip. Combined with the runs for a 1 1/2 days made for a lto of fun. I wne tthrough it all with a amile and had a good time despite the issues. Learned a few things.

Coming back from parking after the race I was riding the trailer alone. As the truck got close to tranisition wher epeople were waiting for the ride back I stood up and raised my hands in the air and yelled "I'm king of the world!"

After the ride I still had a way to got to tranisition so I ran in and kept asking people if the race had started yet? Got lots of funny looks.

Got to leave for Germany tomorrow. Booo...

My sports med doc has an actual photo of the start of the Tour de France many, many years ago.  All the riders smoked before the start thinking the nicotine gave them a boost.

PS.  No PED comments!

Hey gang!  Back from my marathon.  4:06 was my garmin time.  Great race except for the fact that it was 41 deg and steady rain until about mile 19.  Kris and I ran together the whole time which was great.  We were on pace to finish between 3:55 and 4:00 until about mile 21 and then the wheels fell off.  Mine first and hers shortly after.  Finished strong at the end.  Didn't stick around too long because we were freezing.  Still freezing after taking a shower!  Thankfully Tommy's soccer game was cancelled with all the rain or else we would be sitting there now shivering!

Off to recover.  May even try to get my RR done before Japan!  (but don't hold your breath or anything!)
