I had a conversation with myself this morning.  It's not really that cold in DC you can sleep in and run when you get home...

It is 10 degrees out right now.

Alright here is my wetsuit picture from one of my very 1st races.... Then my favorite picture... Just showing the LOW'S of the LOW'S I reached at Ironman Canada this year!!!  Just shows that even when you have lows..... You can turn it around.  HANG IN THERE, and think positive!

So put one extra layer of clothing on and get out the door.. Then when you get home make yourself a NICE HOT CHOCOLATE w/ PEPPERMINT SCHNAPPS!!!

Hehe I was going to make a joke what is that about fifty cents US?

Put on an extra layer and get out there for that run. I can loan you my dogsled if you need it!

Going for a bike fitting tomorrow AM, and then I think its going to be nice enough to take it for a spin and run after. I'll get some pics, I know everyone likes pics.

 I don't have any photos in my wetsuit yet.  Who takes photos of the second to the last girl coming out of the water? .  .  This is my favorite race photo.  I was so happy to finish my first multisport event, the Green Bay duathlon (note the green and gold balloons), I could hardly stand it.

I have had many low points in races the one below was one of the worst.  I was making my way to the finish line after running in a thunderstorm in Nashville and the jumbotron in Tiger's Stadium caught me throwing up, not once, not twice, but three times.  Certainly was memorable.

Regarding paid memberships, like Steve, I am a big supporter of what Ron is trying to do with this site.  I am a Gold member. I don't use the training plans, but occasionally will ask a question of one of the coaches, but that is rare.  I mainly pay the extra money because I think what we have at BT is so cool and worth a few extra bucks.

As a marketer, I am always looking at ways to maximimize revenue and threw a few ideas at Ron including those that limited information to those that don't pay.  His response was something like I fear it will limit beginners access to needed information.  While my fiscal side struggles with that concept, it does say a lot about the man that started this company.  His continued success does rely on an infusion of cash, especially for all the ugrades he does to the training logs, forums and videos.

I think you have to do what you can afford and know that either way people are happy to have you around.

Hey guys!  Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.  I've already got my workout done for today and am going to just chill out for the rest of the day.  Long run planned for tomorrow.  I'm hoping to get outside for it - it'll depend on what time I end up going.

Sorry, no wetsuit picture of me (I don't own one), but I'll try to find a race picture to put up.  I need to fnd one for an avatar anyway.

Sorry it took so long, never get on this computer much anymore.

Put the BB, headset and fork on today, don't have a torque wrench that measures in Inch/lbs so haven't tightened them down to put the cranks on.

And here is what I call "Trevor & his new Cervelo"...Its an original name. I know.

So wiped out today...1st time outdoors on clips, but that wasnt the problem. I passed some walkers, and went to the left and hit a patch of ice , and 'whamo'...man my butt is sore today now!!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! 

My legs are a little sore from my run yesterday so I took a day off today.  I am headed to Vegas in the morning for the International Builders Show and will be out there till Saturday.  I have full intentions of getting in a few workouts while there.  I probably will not be online next week as I am hoping the craps table takes up most of my free time

I will look forward to catching up with you all next week.
