Almost 6km run after work today.  Was feeling a bit tired again for first km until I realized that I was cruising along at a pretty good clip.  Stayed there for 3km, then pulled it back a bit.  Not up to 100%, whatever was going on, but feeling less fatigued at least.

Glad to hear things are improving! I'm feeling increasingly better today too. First we both have ringworm then we are both fatigued all week???? Are we the same person?!?!

Aw! I wanna get on a fast connex so I can see DubSixPics!

Doin' pretty well, was able to put in a swim and a run today.

200 IM warmup

3 x (200,150,100,50) @5s/100 rest

1 - smooth moderate swimming
2 - 200: package (deep catch hi-elbow), 150: surfing the bow, 100: clear shoulders, 50: hard, perfect form
3 - 1st half easy 2nd half hard

4x125 25 stroke 100 free focus
breast: hi-elbow pull
back: body rotation
fly: relaxing on recovery

The sea lice welts are horrible, but they will be for a few days. At least no more nausea/fever. (It is ALWAYS something with me!) They're blistery/weepy/raw right now and I hope they crust up soon. I'll be rubbing lots of Vit E oil in as I don't want any scars!

Hey now, nothin' wrong with a few scars (or 50Smile

Also, glad to see you ramping back up in training! You must be either feeling better or breaking the rules per usual.

I hope everyone is doing well.  I'm gonna try to catch up with the thread this afternoon.  I'm only seven pages behind (yikes!)

BikeMS went well.  Nice riding.  Mostly missed the rain (on the bike at least).

I saw the Tracy is an Ironman again (2x? 3x?).  Congrats to her!

I hope that Kate, Kirsten and Salty were also successful.

Did Felicia race?

Yay for missing the rain! Even for a seasoned cyclist like yourself I'll bet the rain could put a damper on it.

Yep, Tracy finsihed her IM!!!

Felicia and Kirsten didn't race.

Oh. Wow. I have been too. I for some reason just assumed that perhaps Macca was a sensitive soul and wanted to make the world a better place by coming up with a product that eased menopause symptoms. Hmmm.

Nice job to everyone who raced this weekend. I, alas, did not race. I'm sorry I didn't make that clearer to everyone here. I screwed up and forgot to register for the Women's Tri. Another one was available Sunday morning, but I decided not to tackle that one. I was fighting a cold last week (and I seem to have won), and really need to figure out time management for training. You can see from my logs that I've done hardly anything in the last two weeks. I'm very frustrated.

I do have a 10k trail run this weekend, however, that I'm really excited about. And then I still have the 13.1 the following week. I was hoping to race the 13.1, but I may just be running it again.

Glad to hear from you!

A 10K on the trail and then a HM the following week?! Talk about beast mode!

So is the plan to run the 10K to set you up to race the HM?

Yes. That is the plan. The trail run is for fun and experience. I would like to run more trails but I need to build up longer distance. There are not many short trail runs  around here.

Some good running coming up. Looking forward to your results

I'm getting there with my Adamo and I finally don't hate the second half of my ride!

Well I opted not to run my 5.5 mile today as I still had a "twinge" in the hamstring. I thought resting one more day would get me back to good-to-go.  Well now I have to travel to Amarillo tomorrow for work which means I'll miss masters Frown and my scheduled bike ride Frown. Plus I have to be at work extra early so I miss masters on friday Yell and we are going out of town this weekend so unless I bring my bike I'll be missing that ride too Yell. Sometimes my life doesn't fit my training schedule Undecided

Ugh, it sucks when life gets in the way for sure. You are just going to have to roll with it, get training in where and when you can and perhaps do a more run-heavy week since that is the easiest to squeeze in.

I think that's one of the biggest challenges we are all faced with. We all have lives that don't always accommodate training.

Just do what you can and try not to dwell on it too much.
