Well, it appears after this weekend that I still have (most of) my wits about me. I rode with The Blonde 2x, didn't freak out, pass out, have anything weird happen, and I ran this morning for the first time since The Accident. Other than a little minor hip soreness - which I expected - it went just as planned. Again, no weakness, dizziness, heart palpitations, etc. and it was in the upper 50s and mostly clear when I started - perfect running weather.
I have an appt. with a new primary care doc on Tues to a) establish a family doctor relationship here and b) make sure all of my marbles are still in my head a week after getting hit. I'm almost certain I got tagged out there. Was going to happen sooner or later.
Oh, and ISU still sucks. The bastards will say they had a great season even if they lose the rest of their games (which they probably will) and Iowa looked - bad. We can't move the ball on offense. We need to fire Ferentz, he's not being paid $3 million a year to lose to ISU.
It's the Barry Cotton factor. Iowa never had a chance. ISU has been sandbagging, just waiting for the Hawks to arrive. Now they're going to win out, take the Big XII north and eventually the Big XII over Oklahoma in December.
