Hey gang!  Back from my marathon.  4:06 was my garmin time.  Great race except for the fact that it was 41 deg and steady rain until about mile 19.  Kris and I ran together the whole time which was great.  We were on pace to finish between 3:55 and 4:00 until about mile 21 and then the wheels fell off.  Mine first and hers shortly after.  Finished strong at the end.  Didn't stick around too long because we were freezing.  Still freezing after taking a shower!  Thankfully Tommy's soccer game was cancelled with all the rain or else we would be sitting there now shivering!

Off to recover.  May even try to get my RR done before Japan!  (but don't hold your breath or anything!)

Congrats on the marathon.  Love that you and your wife ran it together!

wait. so your wife beat you.  damn bro.

HA!  AWESOME JOB!!!! CONGRATS!!!

Ha!  It was actually close.  Around mile 23, she kept pulling ahead and looking back at me.  I know she was conflicted if she she wait for me after all that time running together or pull away.  I told her to go and not wait for me anymore.  About a mile and a half later I see her walking ahead of me and knew she was feeling bad like me.  I caught up to her and then we stuck together for the last mile+.  Was good to finish together...much better than if she would have beat me!!!

Great time, what's next on your race agenda???

Nothing scheduled!  There is a local half marathon in November that I did a few years ago.  If I do it, it will be a game time decision.
