Just got back from the Indoor Tri.  Thanks for the on-line support!!!

It was a lot of fun; great experience.  I'll share the race report when I have #'s - but didn't count my laps in the pool because I was trying to not drown; don't want to admit my bike mileage until I see how everyone else did; and not sure how many laps I ran or what it equates to...the only downside it that they couldn't get the spin bikes set up properly so we were stuck with recumbent bikes.  The worst.

But going to sign up for another one that's exactly the same at a different YMCA next month, and see if I can do any better.

Until then, I've got to get back to running; I've got a hilly half marathon in a few weeks. >_<

Congratulations!!!

Never worry about what you did and it not being enough...everyone starts somewhere!  I'm sure you learned a lot and you'll do even better next month.

Well they just announced that school is cancelled again for tomorrow.  That means the last time my kids were in school was a week ago on Monday.  Now they can start kissing their Spring Break goodbye.

How much snow do you have?  Are they going to have to go longer into the summer?  That's what's happening with the kids here.

In Maryland the Board of Ed is asking the governor for a waiver so that they don't have to make up the days lost.

That's nice.  Here, they are trying to cancel holidays (like President's Day) to limit the number of days off.  I think they have about a week, though.  Going to be tough.

I don't know how to do this...that should be my race report.  If I remember the sheet at the YMCA correctly, I was 12 out of 47 which I think is pretty good for a Newb!  Even posted a pic, it's me on the right.

Also signed up for an Olympic Distance in September!!! Eek!!
