I think my race was a little short all over. Swim was shallow, so we ran bits of it. Bike was about 1/2 mile short as well.Run was close. I'll do a RR tonight. 

Wow Chris, Another one to the dark side!!! I think you have the right attitude though.  Get through Augusta 1st.  Keep your eye on that price!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Mine was plagues by bad golf Saturday, and a nasty hangover Sunday (along with rain the entire weekend)!  But it was nice to be home for once this weekend, and woke up to a power outage this morning.  Odd!

At least on the non-pouring down rain days I stayed in the 70's.

Yeah a bit rainy in Prattville but still a fun week.  Didn't have a chance to get to the bar.  We went out to watch the Tech - Alabama game, I am still very, very bitter...

WOW,  with us American's loosing Monday at work the time is flying by.  So by head count I have Rob and Suzy doing half irons, Janet doing a half marathon, myself doing 2 miles in the ocean....... anyone else?   Super big weekends for Suzy, Rob and Janet.  Way to go team!!!!

Hey All......

What a fab weekend in northern Wisconsin. Never saw a cloud, temps in the 70s and zero wind. AWESOME!

As Tracy pointed out, the countdown has more than begun.  I go from periods of elation to freakin' out over Saturday.  I have only two concerns, the dark swim/choppy water and getting a flat tire.  I am off to Devils Lake for my last 2500 yard swim this afternoon.  My partner pulled out so it is me and my new SWIMSAFE inflatable device.  Once I get back, its pretty much coasting and carb loading starting tomorrow.....Wheeeeee.

I am almost as excited about volunteering for IM WI the next day.  I got the BEST aid station--we service athletes on both sides of the run right on the main drag, State Street and there are 90 of us working all at once.  So cool. So pumped.....
 
PS Tracy, I would say a 2m swim is a pretty big deal!

I decided to do an Oly on Saturday to end the season.  Going to be ugly, but will get it done.

That is VERY SMART!  Take it easy this week.  It isn't going to do you any good to try and push it, but you already know that becasue you are ready to rock....

John! Too funny, I really loved this...I was stuck in jury duty today and the first guy made me smile, but I was LMAO on the second unaware cyclist...I had my earplugs in my I Touch and I was dying! You guys need to post more tomorrow, so I don't die of boredom while I am awaiting selection! Rob, Suzy, Janet, Steve, good luck racing this weekend! Tracy with the two mile swim! You go!sorry if i missed anyone. tony and sam are probably racing something as usual!

Sometimes I wished I had a recorder going 24/7,  my son says some of the funniest stuff.


This morning my 5 yr old was dreading going to school.  In an effort to convince us to let him stay home, he said "mom...I think I got the SWOON FLY" (swine flu) 

The other night when FL State was playing Miami, he asked me who was playing.  I said "FL State and Miami...who are you pulling for"  He said Your ami.
