Hey Mother Truckers,

Just coming back from a bike ride. I still try to defrost my toes.... Any advice on how toes don't get so cold???

@ Judi: It's great how you approached the situation with your daughter and good to hear that she feels better today.... 7th grade boys just suck....

Just came back from another great swim.  Gonna miss the pool for a week

All you truckers good luck with the workouts over the holiday.  I would love to see us at the top of the standings come Sunday!

I just don't swim these days.... I guess I will save all my swimming energy for January... I am planning on taking lessons then.

Ooh lessons are good.  While I'm not getting personal lessons, coach is very good at giving us all feedback during our Tri class swim.  It has helped me immensely.

I swam this morning, my daughter came in with me....she made it through half of the set (sort of)  I think she realized how hard it is to swim.

PT and bike later....stuff to do to get ready to go to a friends house

Everyone enjoy their turkey today!

I am not planning on personal lessons either. It's also a tri swim class. I swam all my life and I am not bad at it, but I definitely need feedback in order to improve my technique a lot.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING MOTHER TRUCKERS!!!!

Just logged my 22nd workout for this month and as far as I know, that is as much as I can log.

Did a virtual turkey trot with my PECAN running team (pics in my album).

Still debating on if I am doing my pushups today or tomorrow... Probably today would be better, because I am sure lighter before the TG dinner than afterwards.

Have a great day everybody.

I walked by a spinning class the other night when I was going to play racquetball, oh my gosh, that guy made me want to go jump off a cliff or shoot myself in the head. He was sooo loud and sooo obnoxious and soo, can't describe I felt like litterally running out in traffic to get away from it. Phew, glad I wasn't in the class, I would have walked out in 0.0001 seconds.

Anyway, recovery week so low mileage all week. Did get a few 1.5 mile swims in, which was nice, but also playing racquetball has fried my shoulder some after that fall knocking my shoulder 2 weeks ago. Iced it, we see how things land.

It is sooo nice and warm down here in Southern CA.

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Oh and I met my 1000 mile 2008 run goal and my 2500 mile bike goal, yay.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Well I finished number 4 for the week this morning by running an 8 K Turkey trot with my family.  The DH and I ran (not together because he is a speed demon) and my parents walked.  I thought I was going to have to walk some but ended up running the whole thing.  I may be a penguin, but I am fairly consistent I started at about 11:50/mile and finished with an average of 12:22/mile.

Great job!!!

Hope everyone in the U.S. of A had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that if you shopped this morning you are still in one piece.

I'm on vacation with limited internet access.  I've not been able to update the spreadsheet from here yet.  I have 4 workouts thus far this week.
