Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge Round 2: The HolidaysSo, despite this challenge being officially over on March 31st, we're going to continue, right? Right?!?! March was a black hole of a month for me. Lots of over-eating from excessive birthday celebrating to start out and then I spent the last week sick at home with the flu (unfortunately, not a stomach bug, so I didn't even lose much weight). The good news is that weight-wise, I'm about the same (perhaps a touch better?) than where I left off in February. As I start recovering from this stupid illness, I'm back on the wagon and looking forward to getting back out there. I also have body fat testing scheduled for Thursday. That should be interesting. While I only dropped about a pound over last week, the inactivity had an impact on my bf%, according to my Tanita scale (I don't think the number itself is correct, but the trend is usually dependable).... so, lost muscle not fat. Blech. |
